Summary of An Epic Journey in SIBM Nagpur

Likes

Infrastructure, Mess food, facilities, hostel life
Placement, faculty members are kind, and can reach out to them.
Diversity and inclusion. Being roommates with people from different parts of the country.

Dislikes

Limited scope, less number of fests. More academic oriented.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester, in case of Final placements, and in case of Summer internship programmes, students are eligible from the first semester itself. Some of the companies visited are ITC, Deloitte, Tata AIG, Tata Trent, Volvo Richer, ICICI Lombard, Kotak, HUL, etc The highest package offered in 2023 was 17-18 lakhs PA. The minimum starting from 8 lakhs PA.

Should I join SIBM

Likes

All the Faculty of SIBM N are well qualified and a Phd holders
The campus of SIBM N is very huge as well as beautiful

Dislikes

The placement and roles provided by the college are not that great
The source curriculum should be updated and college should focus on some AI courses

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from semester 3. HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Piramal Reality, ICICI Lombard, and SBI Life are some of the some company that visited our campus. The Highest package is around 20 Lakhs and the Average is around ten Lakhs. More than 90% of the students get placed in campus placements.

SIBM Nagpur Review

Likes

The Campus of SIBM N is Very big and Beautiful .
The class , Library is well equiped with all the necessary resources.
Hostel provided by the college is good as well as Mess good is decent .

Dislikes

Faculty of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management are not that good .
Placement provided by the college is not that good as compared to the fees they are charging.
Fees of the college is so high as compared to facilities it provide.

Placement Experience:

From Starting of 3 semester students are eligible for placements. Companies such as HCL, Fujitsu, HDFC, Colgate, and SBI are coming for placements. The Highest package is around 18 LPA whereas the Average is around 8-9 LPA. Almost 80-90% of students get placed by the college. I plan to get a decent job from my college and get settled in life.

All About SIBM Nagpur from the lens of a Symbian

I liked the college infrastructure. I think SIBM Nagpur has one of the finest and amazing infrastructure that makes the campus life even more exciting.
I liked the campus life here at SIBM Nagpur. Variety of events and fest conducted on regular basis is what makes there 2 years the most memorable years.
The course curriculum is also interesting and engaging. It prepares students to become corporate ready at an early stage of their career.

Dislikes

While the quality of the mess food is satisfactory, the mess committee can still look for improvements in the daily menus. This can ensure that food wastage is minimized to a greater extent.
The course pedagogy can be more focused on imparting the practical aspects of business than on the theoretical side. Faculty can explore ways to incorporate the same for the coming batches.

Placement Experience:

Being 4 year since its inception, the average package stands at 11.5 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA. Once students complete their summer internship program, they become eligible to participate in the Final Placement Drive provdided they clear their First Year end term examinations. For the current assessment year, more than 80 companies have come on board for campus placements. The roles offered are Customer Relationship Manager, Key Account Managers, Operations Manager, Finance Specialist any many more. At present 75% of the batch is placed.
