The best thing is the competitive environment i would say because we have best minds here , so even losing here is like a runner who lost at the global olympics, which means you are still better than a lot of population.
The other things is the society culture where we learn a lot with expereinces from seniors and others beyond friendships.
Less courses given by the college , which makes the college specialised i feel. its really good.

Dislikes

the only thing is that college is bit smaller in size and is offcampus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum of Core Subjects is full of case studies ,and practical implications i would say. Some subjects that we have to opt and we just attend for the sake of attendance like SEC,AEC,VAC are bit eww. Otherwise It's good.

SSCBS is Superb!!

SSCBS is a college to die for as it teaches you a corporate culture.
A 7 floor building with top two floors being boys hostel in the same building.
There are two canteens in all at our college and a football ground as well.

Dislikes

Definitely the location as it is 15misn walking from Rithala Metro while most colleges are at a walking distance from our college.

Microsoft, PWC, Deloitte and endless MNCs which have a great influence on inspiring western culture are the ones who comes for placements. Placements are almost 100% for BMS and payments for the same is around 5-6 lakhs on and average.

Sometimes the competitive environment gets too much intimidating and overwhelming, everyone is busy doing something always, so it's always like u have this ick of being productive

Our college has training program and from second year onwards we have to get on with it. Under training program we are also provides internships and all through that. Placements at our college are really good as firstly the strength is less and therefore maximum students get campus placements from our college.

SSCBS is superb

Our campus has a 7 floor building and besides that there's a hostle building and both of them are world class.
We have best in class faculties and are more knowledgeable than I presumed.
We have Amul and Nescafe bar at our campus and so refreshment is done inside the campus.

Dislikes

Too much of societies workload as students have to join them against their will.

KPMG, Deloitte, Sun Pharma, Sugar Cosmetics and others as business developer are always be in demand. Around 80% of the students are placed through campus but I am preparing for CAT and other entrance exams as I will be pursuing MBA post my graduation.

As being a DU College, i didn't expected well versed infrastructure and admin faculty
The regular sessions like the sessions held in engineering colleges.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not liike whoever is in the college can get the placements, it requires very hard to get in those companies although all recruiters that came in our campus are top-notch, that's why they also focus to take top cream layer of students and package is quiet decent and ROI too, that the fees we've paid and if we got that package that average is around 8-10LPA, it's quiet good!

Life at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies

Likes

The faculty is highly accomplished & knowledgeable with most of them having done their PHD
The college infrastructure is top tier with smart boards and centralised ACs in every classroom
The college placement has a high percentage of more than 90 percent

Dislikes

There are not much hangouts spots around the college making the college life a little dull hence you must find your hangout spots yourself

Placement Experience:

The college has a very attractive placement rate of above 90 percent. The placement season starts in the final year of college and has two phases. Top consulting companies are known for mass hiring. The college experiences placement in various domains from marketing, finance, strategy and consulting and trading etc.

The opportunities provided by college is amazing like placements and internships.
The peer group that you meet is amazing and always push you to do something
The infrastructure is best among all delhi University colleges

Dislikes

Sometimes so much competition creates peer pressure and it lows self esteem and self confidence
It is very off side than north campus which sometimes limits you from network opportunities
The sports opportunities are not so good ...people are more oriented in nerdy things.

The college crowd is the cream of the crop meaning the students here are among the best minds in their respective fields.
The environment is highly competitive which motivates you to improve and become better.
The teaching staff has years of experience and even the younger faculty members possess extensive knowledge of their subjects, making discussions with them highly beneficial for our careers.

Dislikes

Competitive environment if not handled carefully may lead you think that you are far behind and make you feel despair.
Society culture can be toxic sometimes. The path shall be tread on carefully.
Some students here try to mold themselves into a corporate suitable candidate which may lead you to have unpleasant feelings after interacting with them

Placement Experience:

There is a Placement Cell in our college dedicated for that purpose only. The average and Median packages are always above 10 lakhs while the highest package varies year to year with 44 Lakhs in the year 2023. Some companies which are frequent recruiters from our college are BCG, Bain & Comapny, McKinsey & Company, A & M, EY, etc.

Faculty is excellent and helpful towards students
College provides various opportunities to its students.

Dislikes

Since its off campus so there is no engagement of students with other colleges

Placement Experience:

So students become eligible for campus placements from 4th semester and mainly eligibility for placement is 4 week minimum interdhips. More than 50 companies including goldman sachs ,jp morgan, accenture and many more visits the college and 250 + offers are made..highest package is arounv 20 lpa for bsc cs and average is 9 lpa.my plans after getting is do master in computer science
