SDMIMD Courses & Fees 2026

The fee for the MBA course at SDMIMD was INR 12.70 Lakhs in 2025. The fees have increased by INR 1.40 Lakhs for the academic session 2026-28. The key important details about SDMIMD Course are as follows-

Eligibility Criteria: UG with 50% marks+CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT scores.
Seat Intake: 400
Total Fees: INR 14.10 Lakhs (including hostel) +INR 3000 per month (mess charge).
Registration Fees: INR 1250 (non-refundable).

SDMIMD Admission 2026

For admission to MBA course, candidates need to have at least 50% aggregate in 10th, 12th and UG. Candidates need to register on the official website of SDMIMD to be considered for the admission process. The detailed admission process are as follows-

Candidates will be shortlisted for PI based on academic scores, competitive exam score, participation in extracurricular activities (sports, debates, theatre, fine arts etc.) and work experience if applicable.
Personal Interview will take place in February – March 2026 and held at several centres across India (Online interviews are also scheduled on request).
Selected students will be informed by email/phone/mobile. The seat will be confirmed for admission on payment of the first installment of fees by the due date as mentioned in the Offer Letter.

SDMIMD Cutoff 2025

The institute uses entrance exam scores as initial shortlisting criteria for PI. Candidates need to secure a minimum cutoff percentile in the entrance exam. SDMIMD Cutoff for General category candidates in 2024 are as follows-

Placement scenario in campus, highest and average package being offered

All Students are eligible to sit for placements if they have cgpa above certain limit. For the last year, all the students who were eligible have been placed. 100% placement, my plan after PGDM is to be placed in a well known company and improve my skills. Average placements are about 7 lakhs and highest may be 17 lakh

Internship opportunities in various organizations provided by the campus

The college provides internship opportunities to all students. It is done by student led placement committee and students may also find thier own internship if they need. Companies like Morgan stanley, reliance and other companies were the prominent internship providers.

What are the various events organized in the college?

The college has several clubs and all activities are organised by these student led clubs. The flagship event, naisence, was conducted successfully last year and it was fully organised by student led committees. The college also celebrates different cultural programs and sports programs

What is the total fees of the course and scholarship availability?

The fees are a bit high like all b-schools as we get higher placement packages, my fees were about 11.5 lakhs as it also included hostel fees. The college also provides scholarships to all students based on thier marks if they have above 70% in 10th 12th and degrees.

Students view on course curriculum and teaching methods

The Curriculum of this institute is very good. The college changes its courses every year to adjust to the changing global industry and help the students to get better jobs. The courses are well oriented and properly tested by the professors. Professors use case studies, and guest lectures to provide more info to students.

Facilities provided in the college hostel

The hostel facility of SDMIMD is wonderful, everyone gets single rooms with shared bathrooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is average in mess. All students have to stay in the hostel as it is a residential program.

Students view on faculty and their expertise

Sree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development is a great institute to pursue PGDM, the faculty here are well qualified and have many years of work experience / teaching experience before working here. Classes typically have less than 70 students and are not crowded at all, the professors are extremely helpful and can be visited at any time to clear doubts.

How to get admission in the college and what sets the college stand out ?

The eligibility for this college is above 50% in degree. You may have any degree, engineering or bcom or bba. Any entrance exam like MAT, CAT must be taken. The application forms can be found in the college website. Exams are conducted after a trimester(endterms) and in between trimesters (midterms) quizzes are also conducted. The institute also values presentations and class participation by students.

Likes

Non teaching staff who are friendly and helpful if any help is asked.
Green campus with recycling of waste and sewage treatment plant for gardening purposes ensuring no wastage of water.
Beautiful campus with wonderful garden to refresh your mind by having a walk around

Dislikes

The college could improve the overall marketing of the college which is lacking
Increase of batch strength resulting in higher student crowd which can end up in poor quality of students

I had applied to CMS Jain Bangalore, PES university Bangalore and Symbiosys Pune. However with few student feedback from CMS Jain and PES Bangalore I decided not to join them, when it comes to Symbiosys Pune I felt the fee structure is not financially viable for my family we we did not go with student education loan option. I choose SDMIMD comparing all the factors like faculty, placement support and the reviews from alumni students. All the students to be eligible have to complete their 10th, 12th and Undergraduate degree with not less than 60% of marks, work experience will be added advantage.

As far I know the cut off of cat was 50%- 60% when looked on to the other websites regarding the admission.There was gdpi online or offline according to your comfortability. The college follows AICTE norms.
