RA Podar College of Commerce and Economics Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Frankly, just for sake of the college name. But after attending entire 1semester now I realize that it was a biggest mistake to just consider these things only. Faculty is good but I feel as per the fees taken from college there should be some improvement in every regarding these self financing master's courses. Students for these courses are small in ratios i.e about 14-15max students for self financing courses. All teachers are visiting faculty, causing many problems regarding lecture timings,regularity,etc . All the faculty members are well experienced and qualified but feels like not up to mark in terms of teaching. Sem1 was conducted in Nov23 where no holiday for any subject was given also exams were taken on very short notice. Hardly got 1week to study for exams due to assignments and viva's. Papers are hard to finish in 2hrs time but thankfully everyone was able to pass in exam in my class atleast.

I was in the same college in 11th and 12th. The teachers in the college are very good and clear with concepts that made me understand everything with much more ease. Along with that the college's location is quite convenient from my home.

Students become eligible from the 6th sem. 75% of students get placement. I have plans of opting for article placement as I am pursuing CA along with BCom. Highest avg package in rs. 3 lakh per yr. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, E&Y have visited.

Because the rating and review of this college was really good. Also since I play sports, this college has an accredated A+ which is a really good place for people who are into sports and encourage athlete in every aspect of the academics. The faculty here is really good.

Ranks in Top 10 College of Mumbai.Extra circular activities are given priority along with studies. Sports comes first for the college. Exams and lectures flexibility is provided in case of certain sports, exams & fests ( important ).No minimum attendance required. Great placement are offered.

There is a placement cell of our college. It helps the interested students to get placements. My plans after getting the degree is to study further.

After ra podar college i look forward to dp ca and other degrees to improve my skills and knowledge Few companies/ shops advertise in the college by paying a sum of money for few days

We had gala time in our college. It was a nice experience and made a lot of good friends. Though we had tough papers in accountancy but we learned how hard papers used to set which eventually helped in Board Exams which was quite easy for us to pass. So eventually my college helped me a lot for my future.

College management is good. It's now an autonomous college. Faculties are supportive and friendly. Yes college seniors have been extremely helpful whether it was in relation to career guidance or on education matters or being comfortable with the college ambience and environment. They made us feel at home. They also guided us on ways we can develop and grow our skills apart from education. There are various celebrities also who have graduated from this college. Also various business men.
