08 Jan, 2026 JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be held from Jan 21 to 29, 2026, for B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan admission. Further, the Session 1 City Intimation Slip has been released @jeemain.nta.nic.in. For more details, check here.

Sri Krishna Institute of Technology was established in 2001. It is located on the outskirts of Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). At present, SKIT offers B.E under six specializations.

Ques. How is the hostel facility?

Ans. Hostels are located in calm and serene surroundings with a good atmosphere for studies inside the campus. Hostels have separate wardens to look after the welfare of the students with care and dedication. The Anti-Ragging Committee and Hostel wardens take care of the students.

Ques. How is the infrastructural facility?

Ans. The infrastructural facilities provided by the college are good. The library accommodates more than 5000 books and national and international journals. The institute provides well-equipped laboratories, a big auditorium, which can accommodate nearly 300 students at a time.

Ques. Is there any transport facility?

Ans. SKIT campus is situated in the center of the city and near to the industrial hub of the country which can be easily reached by the public and Institution transport system. College provides bus facilities to the students and staff from the nearest metro station to the campus.

Honestly i have choose many colleges but my ranking was so high so i can't able to get the seat in other colleges Yes its like it depends on my ranking The eligibility is like the people from CET must be thier ranking within 50k cutoffs goes like 79k Admission experience is not so tough

Life at skit

Admission:

Unfortunately I didn't choose this college, as I got less rank in my CET exam which is 1,32,691 I had to go through management seat in any other college but then my mother's colleague suggested this college as she was the topper in this college he is an aluminike basically and the made me join this college when I had completely zero interest in joining this college. As I am a sports student this college will not support you and any sports or cultural fests. Before coming to the scholars I went to Acharya college where everything was fine and when I was about to join that college the college seats for fill quickly so I couldn't just go and join there. Coming to the admission process part you just have to get your 10th marks card 2nd PU mascard and TC study certificate from 10th and 12th standard in your city exam result or JW exam result this will be more than sufficient for the admission process and get 5 passport size photos of yours.

I choosed this college because i was having CET score of 50k, for that score this college is more appropriable ????, Yes i got rejected from other colleges like sapthagiri, acharya which was near to this college i didn't selected there because was not having the CET score which is required for those college's. Admission process in this college was very simple not çomplicative if you are having management seat means it will be easy otherwise little difficult

Decent college with good teachers not so good campus

Other colleges I applied like sapthagiri and don Bosco but because my ranking was not enough to make me to admission in these colleges so I couldn't make in that colleges admission process was little bit complicated because so much of documents they require and also first they didn't even specify what they needed
