Selvam College of Technology is a multifaceted educational institute in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The institute was established under V. Ponnumsamy Education and Charitable Trust by Dr. P. Selvam College of Technology offers undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology under the disciplines of Electrical and Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Electrical and Electronics and Biotechnology. Admissions to all the UG courses are merit based. Candidates must have successfully appeared for higher secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Selvam College of Technology M.E., MBA, MCA Admission 2026
SCT offers M.E. in four specializations, MBA, and MCA under its PG wing. SCT admits students to PG courses through the state level entrance exam conducted by Anna University- Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or through the Common Entrance Test (CET) by Consortium. TANCET 2021 rank will be deduced after normalization of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
For admission to M.E program candidates must hold B.Tech/ B.E degree with at least 50% marks. Minimum educational qualification for applicants for MBA program is a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories). Candidates who hold Bachelor’s in Computer Applications/ Science (Information Technology/ Computer Science) and have studied Mathematics at least up to class 12th are eligible for admissions to MCA program.

Key Points:
- Candidates, who have passed two-year M.Sc course, are not eligible for admissions to M.E (CSE).
- B.E/ B.Tech degree obtained through distance mode or weekend course will not be considered valid for admissions.
- Applicants who have taken admissions to qualifying degree course through lateral entry admissions are ineligible to apply.
- Counseling of the merit candidates will be conducted through Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA).
- After counseling schedule is announced, candidates will have to attend TANCA 2021 process for verification of documents, seat allotment and confirmation of admission process.
