Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology FAQs

Ques. How competitive is KEAM for getting into Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology?

Ans. KEAM is moderately competitive for admission to Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology. Based on what students generally share, candidates with a mid-range KEAM rank and above-average PCM marks have a good chance of securing admission. Branches like Mechanical, Civil, and EEE tend to have relatively lower cut-offs, while CSE at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology is more competitive and fills up faster. For students with lower ranks, the management quota is a practical alternative, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

Ques. Can I change my branch after joining Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology?

Ans. Branch change at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology is possible, but it happens only in rare cases. It usually depends on whether there are vacant seats in the desired branch and how well you perform in the first semester. Students with a strong academic record and higher grades are given priority. However, since vacancies are limited and demand is usually high for popular branches like CSE, most students don’t get the option to switch, so it’s better to choose your branch carefully at the time of admission.

Ques. Do I need a KEAM score if I’m applying under management quota at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology?

Ans. Technically, a KEAM score is not mandatory for management quota admission at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology, but having one is definitely an advantage. The management merit rank list is usually prepared by combining your KEAM score and 10+2 PCM marks with equal weightage, so a good KEAM rank improves your chances of getting a preferred branch. Even without KEAM, you may still be considered based on academic performance, but students with valid scores are generally given higher priority.

Ques. How helpful are the teachers at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology?

Ans. Most students feel that the teachers at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology are qualified, experienced, and approachable. Many professors hold higher degrees and are open to helping students with academic doubts, lab work, and practical concepts.

They are supportive during exams and project work as well. However, some students mention that teaching is often syllabus-focused, so while you get a strong academic base, you may need to put in extra effort through self-study, online courses, or projects to prepare well for placements and interviews.

Ques. How strict is the academic life at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology?

Ans. Most seniors say the academics here are quite strict at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology and Technology. You have regular internal tests and exams, and teachers expect you to stay on top of coursework. If you don’t keep up with your studies, it becomes noticeable very quickly because classes move at a steady speed and there isn’t much flexibility. Some students feel this pressure helps them stay disciplined, while others feel it gives them very little free time.
