Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur, was established in 2002 under the Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust. The college is affiliated with the University of Calicut and approved by AICTE. It is also recognized by the Government of Kerala and accredited by the Institution of Engineers (India).

For selection, they need to take the KEAM Entrance Examination. For B.Tech lateral admission, a candidate needs to have a diploma in Engineering a valid LET score.
Three specializations are offered under the M.Tech course. Candidates seeking admission should have a B.Tech degree in the relevant with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, in addition to having a valid GATE scorecard.
Unfortunately, SCE Kadakara doesn’t offer lateral entry admission for CSE course.
