The college has a commendable faculty-student relationship, with a balanced faculty-student ratio allowing for individual attention. The faculty is generally well-qualified, with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutions like IIT and NIT. The head of the department, Prof. Manoj Kumar G., has 16 years of teaching experience and has published four journals in IEEE. There are approximately 30 faculty members in the department, including six associate professors.

A majority of the faculty are experienced, approachable, and supportive, facilitating both academic and extracurricular activities. Faculty assessments are conducted monthly, and continuous training ensures high teaching standards. The college conducts two series exams and one university exam per semester, aligning with KTU regulations, with exams ranging from moderate to difficult. The college holds a high pass percentage, ranking fourth in Kerala and second in Trivandrum. Despite some issues with office staff and certain faculty members' attitudes, overall student satisfaction with the faculty is positive.
