KTU syllabus ain't that good. Need improvisation

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure here depends on the seat you are availing. There are 3 types of seats for engineering in this college. First is merit seat. You get this seat if your KEAM entrance rank is good. CS has most demand here. For more info refer keam last rank to know last rank for merit seat who got admitted here for respective branches. Keam rank list last rank admission also depends on reservation. SC, ST, Differently ables can have ranks very low and still be able to get a merit seat in LBS. Yearly fee for merit seat for general students is RS.40000. Reserved seats will have to pay only about 3 digit bill.Scholarship will take care of their fees. The other kind of seat is management seat. Comparitively easy to get and will have fees RS.80000. Next possible seat is only for NRIs. Its very easy for NRI people to get a seat but fees is very high, about 1.4lac. In addition to the yearly fee, if you are a hosteler then hostel will cost you around 4-5k per month. In addition , every year exam fee costs around 5K.

Fees and Financial Aid:

the tution fee is 35K per annum, but adding exam fee, special fee,etc. it rounds upto about 42k each year i am a merit student, and this is my case, you also have to pay PTA fund and other miscellaneous fees when you join, which would round upto 60-70k, but this is only for first year. As for scholarships you have to apply for those yourself, you have E-grants, MCM, central sector, etc. they cover only part of your fees, and is not assured to approve.

The tuition fee is 35000 per year ,Exam fee is 6000 per year .A total of 41550 is to be paid in a year including the arts and sports fee. Hostel fee is according to the veg or non-veg and mess cuts can be taken in case of long leave.In a year a merit admitted students total fee is about 1 lakh including all the fees.The state Scholarship e-grants is available for Merit students and MCM scholarship is available for all students with restrictions in income. College is providing scholarship for academic best performers in every academic year.

Since I am a general category student, I have to pay the full amount of 35,000 per year. If you have reservations, then you have many scholarship opportunities like egrantz, mcm, etc. So there won't be many financial issues if you are allotted via merit.
