Various types of scholarships are given here which helps students economically.
Good faculty team which makes it easier for the students to understand concepts.
Our hostel room condition too good , and environment is very good.

Dislikes

Admission process is not so long easy process but in admission clg behavior not well.
Our hostel meal is very poor condition, and hostel cook bad man.

Hostels are good I like the hostel culture

Likes

The students of the college conduct the 3rd largest fest in West Bengal.
The College has the big campus of 73 acre. Social interactions of is very good.
In the college , there are many expert Professors .

Dislikes

The maintenances of the college must be improved.
The Infrastructure is not much good must need improvement.
the road of the college should be constructed.

Placement Experience:

The Placement scenario of this college is very good , many of company like TCS,Cognizant etc visted for on campus placement. The heighest package of this goesb upto 43 lakh per annum, and the average placement of this college is 9 lakh.

Ours Days in KGEC

Likes

I mostly like studying in library of mathematics books.
I like to play cricket and football in ours ground.
In my course I like to study digital electronics and digital communication.

Dislikes

I don't like ours department faculties with hod.
Ours campus roads are poorly bad. Very effectively is bad.
Our all sports equipment is not available.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies: Cognizant, TCS, L& T, Indian Oil, Amazon, Flipkart, Google etc. Total offer letter is 200 average. Average package as per company is 8 lacs per annum. Above 70% students getting placements. My plans are getting Gate exam ranking.

Likes

Environment is very good, Campus is very clean and Near to Station
Seniors are helpfull they help you to settle in the college, no ragging at all

Dislikes

Hostels should be Clean a much more and appliances should be corrected
Mess food is not too much i liked mess must be improved

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good in this college there are many more companies which comes every year in this company and hire students there are many more good multinational companies whose come for hiring students at every branches like TCS Infosys cognizant Wipro Woods Haldia petrochemical, barc etc and offers very high profile package according to students capability

Likes

Faculties are good and helpful and teaching and non teaching all staff are good and mostly helpful
Environment is good college is adjacent to the kalyani university
The transportation system to college is good with nearby railway station is kalyani ghospara

Dislikes

May some people doesn't like the infrastructure
water is not much good like if you stay in hostel sometimes you have to use mineral water

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is overall good compare to other colleges which under WBJEE you can on campus placement and off campus both options for students the companies like TCS, Cognizant,HPL, LnT, and many other companies visit for campusing and the highest offer made by company on campus is 10 LPA and in off is 84 LPA you can check all other details in KGEC Training and Placement Page on Facebook or LinkedIn

It is government college .. one of the best government engineering college in west bengal
Here hostel is also available for both boys and girls . There you will get a fully different environments
College professors are soo good and also experts in their field of subjects.

Faculty is the most prized aspect offered by our college as it is having one of the most execelent teaching faculty memebers in whole of west bengal.
Placements are the part of the college everyone is excited about and the placements here are constantly increasing .
Social campus lyf is one of a experinece due to the vast campus and unique bonding of seniors and juniors.

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be improved a little as it has been a little outdated
Ammnities should be a bit latter models as the ones used are a lite backdated ones.
No other points are there that could be considered a drawback.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and cirriculum are overall good cirriculum but certain new subjects should be added as well as certain new cirriculum startergies should be introduced as in tech field udating with new innovations are very crucial for upliftment of skill standards of college.

Likes

Campus Size was lush green and pollution free. It is perfect spot for exploring
Good faculty members, everyone has a phd and are well versed with their subjects. Very helpful teacher and faculty staff
Very effective placement facility. The placement committee is very welcoming to companies. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon are regular visitors.

Dislikes

Infrastructure could be improved a lot in our college with proper air-conditioning for labs.
College is a bit far from main Kalyani City. Transportation is a bit difficult
Lack of development and coding culture is an issue here.

Placement Experience:

The college has a very professional Training and Placement committee. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro visit the college for placement. My department (ECE) has an average of 7LPA. Last year the highest pakage was 85 LPA which was secured by one of our esteemed seniors in JP Morgan Chase. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon also visit our college for placements. The only disadvantage is maximum of these companies are visiting for mass recruit profiles. I plan to go for an MS in USA after securing my degree.
