Worth joining Kj Somaiya

Faculty:

We have on an average 70 students in a class.the faculty sometimes teaches in Marathi which is not good ofcourse,but nothing can be. Done about it. We have ise and ese in a particular semester . The exams conducted are easy and can be passed just by studying. Basic books

Adequate infrastructure, good and understanding teachers

Faculties are interactive with students and not too strict nor too lenient. Math and bee faculties are most liked by students. Exams are tough enough but time for preparation is very less because of last minute assignments given

Faculties have been average to good mostly. Exams specially in cse are easy so competition over top cgpa is high. They are renovating the entire college putting acs everywhere. The chairs are bit bad but they will be changed afyer renovation so thays it. Facilities are good and faculties mostly onow what they are teaching.

The Great KJ Somaiya

Faculty and teaching is also very nice faculty are very supportive.

The relationship between students and teachers are very healthy and happy teachers are very supportive . In 1 Sem there are 2 exams and 2 tests of 20 marks and final exam is 60 . The name of faculties i mentioned here that aire sir aire sir is very supportive and there teaching skills also very nice and it's easy to understand

Faculty to student relationship varies a lot depending on the faculty.. some are very strict but don't teach well, some teach well but are lenient, some both teach well and are strict and vice versa. There are two main exams mid sem and end sem along with other practical/ internal tests which take place throughout the semester

The senior faculty members can sometimes be perceived as being impolite.

The faculty members at our institution possess extensive experience and are highly trained in their respective fields. They have been dedicatedly teaching at Somaiya for over a decade, demonstrating their commitment to our institution. The faculty members are generally approachable and engage in respectful communication with students. However, there are a few senior faculty members who, while being highly knowledgeable and proficient in their subjects, maintain a strict demeanor, which can sometimes make it challenging for students to approach them.

KJ Somaiya is better than the rest!!

Faculties are research papers gurus as most of them have done multiple thesis. I love their aura and their guidance as that has not just made be competent in education but in real life as well. Coolness, Calmness and what not has been taught by then as decision making is what engineering is all about.

KJ Somaiya, worth it ?

Moody faculty everyday. But not that strict.

Very moody faculty. A class of 60 has 3 batches, and one faculty over one batch. Faculties provide answers to solutions, but in their own way. Some bad faculties: Chirag Desai, Avani Sakhapara. Good faculties: R. Divekar, Nilkamal. These faculties are selected on personal opinion. Exams: 3 kinds: Internal Assessmen (2 exams- 20mark) In sem Exam (30mark) End sem Exam (100 mark)

The Faculty members are very friendly and supportive.

So the faculty is well-qualified and friendly. Some of the professors are very passionate about their subject. One can approach any faculty member anytime you want they will help you. Most of the faculty are understanding and have experience which can be valuable.
