IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are quite good as most are in the Sales domain. Then comes finance with PWC, EY, RSM, Barkedia and other MNC companies. In FMCG, comes ITC, Asian Paints, Everest, Dabur, Himalaya, Marico etc. For IT company, comes TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. Good marketing companies like Saint Gobain, ABP, EXIDE batteries which give good packages as well.

They do provide placements to their students as they have a record of placing their 100 percent students, but most of the students are placed in sales and marketing function as they fail to bring good companies based on specialization.

Yes there is specific aspects of the circulum also happen day to day interaction with their mentors gives us appropriate idea which field we want to choose or which field is appropriate for this thing is very helpful for us

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. EY, PWC, TCS, ICICI, Bandhan Bank, Indigo, Usha Martin, Asian paints, Berger, Bluedart, Collegedunia, Flipkart, and many more came for the campus placement. The highest package was 9LPA . The average package is 4.5LPA - 5LPA. 80% of Students got placed.

The placement was good. There are many companies like pwc, ey, tcs, Asian paints, etc. and they made approx 10 offers. The highest package was 1200000. 90% of students got placed in companies. After getting my degree my aim is to do my job.

The course curriculum & faculty members are good & supportive. The faculty-student ratio is 15:100. Industry experts & PPT and One to one and one-to-many interaction basis. 2 mid semester before 1st sememster and same process till 4th semester. The exam is moderate.

From the 2nd semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies are used to coming to the college to offer jobs to the students. We used to give the interviews for the selection.

after completing the 2nd semester you may be eligible for the placement process. I think there are a lot of companies visiting this college. the overall package was good. almost 100% of students get opportunities.

campus placement was from the 3rd semester. not even 50% of students got placement from college. The highest package was around 5,35,000. the compies like Kotak Mahindra Bank, TCS, PWC, Deloitte came for placement.

Placement for Finance is Excellent with a very good package, for Marketing is Good as it sales cum primary research-based and Business Analytics is also good as it a new course introduced from 2019. Logistics also has excellent opportunities. PWC, E&Y, Dorma Kaba, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, IDFC, HDFC. 90% of students get placed on campus. My plans after my MBA is to pursue a career in Business Analytics.
