Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) offers M.Tech., Integrated Ph.D. (M.Tech + Ph.D.), Direct Ph.D. (Engineering), and Ph.D. (Science). The institute also offers consultancy services for new designs, and upgrading and absorption of technology to industry, R&D units, and project engineering organizations and undertakes contract research on specific problems and requirements of the electronic industry.

Eligibility
Institute offers M.Tech. Degree Program in Advanced Electronics Engineering. For the M.Tech. the degree program, the candidate must have passed the undergraduate degree in BE/B.Tech. with a minimum of 55% marks scored in the academic curriculum.
The duration of the course is 2 years. Detailed eligibility criterion:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology following a four-year engineering/technology or 4/5 year science degree or equivalent degree of not less than four years’ duration with CGPA ≥ 6.5.
Selection Criteria
The candidates having Aat least one of the following can get admission to the M.Tech program.
- Awarded a national-level fellowship tenable at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani. Awarded as a CSIR-SRF, or CSIR-GATE-JRF.
- Qualifying the conditions for the award of the INSPIRE fellowship or 1st rank in the University.
- Qualifying all the conditions stipulated by CSIR and CSIR-CEERI for Project Assistants to admission for MTech
- Qualifying the conditions stipulated by AcSIR for industry-sponsored# students.
- A valid GATE/ NET score (Rank ≤ 2000 for UR; Rank ≤ 3000 for OBC; Rank ≤ 5000 for SC/ST/PH), or
- CGPA (≥ 8.0 for UR; ≥ 7.5 for OBC; ≥ 7.0 for SC/ST/PH) at the BE-level examination.

For the Ph.D. program, a candidate must have passed M.Tech. or has done the Junior Research Fellowship/ Senior Research Fellowship in CSIR-CEERI.
