The college offers an admission process that includes both counseling and non-counseling options, largely based on merit. Campus placements start in the 7th semester for students with at least 60% marks, although eligible students are in their 8th semester. Over 75% of students secure placements, with companies like MRF, BANK, RANE, and TVS LUCAS offering an average package of INR 20,000. Internships are available at organizations such as HSI and Neyveli Lignite Corporation India (NLCI).
The fee structure is variable, depending on academic performance, caste, and status as a first-generation graduate. Mechanical department students face an annual fee of INR 1,05,000, with potential reductions for high achievers, and full waivers are possible. First-generation graduates receive a 25% discount annually, while SC/ST students have access to better scholarships. All costs, including tuition and hostel fees, are disclosed at admission, with no later increases. Additional semester and sports fees can be offset with scholarships.
Fees can be paid in installments or in full, and bank loans are available. Notably, the college does not facilitate campus interviews.
