Common Rooms: There are separate common rooms available in the college compound for the boys and the girls.

Likes

The classrooms were neat and clean, well maintained.
Entire environment of the college was very polite.The library facilities was acknowledged.

Dislikes

Union politics inside the college campus, canteen facilities was not available.
The basketball court was there but not much support got from sports authority.

I liked Government College most.I don't know there was a relation from the very 1st day, I didn't get any rejection from other colleges,my 1st preference was always Government College. Girl: Boy ratio is 1:2 in our class 3rd year

Our college is too much big . We have a big campus and big playground. And our college is beautiful than any other local college.

Durgapur Government College, Durgapur (Paschim Bardhaman), does not offer a postgraduate program in English (MA in English). Its Department of English provides only undergraduate degrees, BA (Honours and General), with no MA courses available under its current affiliation with Kazi Nazrul University.
