Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital offers MBBS degree courses at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects: English, Biology/Botany & Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates should not be below 17 years of age at the time of Application process. Blind (including color blind), deaf, and/or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.
Admission is done on the basis of NEET UG Scores or CET Score. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on candidates scores in NEET UG or CET.

- All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 10%.
- For students belonging to SC/ST, the maximum number of appearances (including the first appearance) permitted to pass the CET is two and one for others.
