Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is okay - okay but would've been better if we could've written out ENT and Ophthalmology exams this year itself.... because now we got 11 subjects to cover in the final year. Also logbooks are a waste of time and CBME SHOULD consider removing that or reducing the writings we got to do in it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum currently followed is of CBME. It is a competency based curriculum where the competencies need to be certified. Log books need to written based on the observations and reflections. Different activities are to be done. Seminars, Small group discussions and Self Directed learning are other activities included in the curriculum.

We have the CBME curriculum which is for improving the clinical knowledge of the young doctors. But this system make the students in high pressure for marks as well as acquiring the skills at the same time. The exams are also hard to pass

Course curriculum is centred around the human body. We are taught all the basic aspects of it in the forst year. In the following years we are taught about the clinical side and given exposure to patients. More of skills should be given a chance to be practiced by us. The college is following CBME curriculum which is suggested by the National Medical council of India which is followed by all the medical colleges in India we are having exams every annually whistle be conducted after every academic year the exams are conducted by the Kerala University of sciences which is common for every medical colleges in Kerala is exams are pretty standard in which the practical session also have its importance which is necessary to qualify the exam and to be becoming a feature doctor

Course curriculum is all organised and perfect. All they are trying to implement the best way tomoroducr quality doctors. It's just work load has gittin higher than the previous cbme batch so I personally believe yiund medical students are getting tired mentally more easily. There is no studies life balance.

I choose this course because I love this profession and it is the best option for my skills and I could shine in it, student ratio we have 64 girls and36 boys. faculty are all qualified and good teaching, they give notes, ppt etc and classes will boost our knowledge. exams are yearly it's little difficult but I passed with a distinction.
