PSGIMSR Faculty

The faculty at the college are well-qualified and experienced, with most possessing an MD in their respective areas. The college maintains a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:25 to 1:35, with each department having around 15 to 20 faculty members. There are 14 subjects taught over the four-and-a-half-year MBBS course, with the curriculum covering anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and more. Faculty members are generally supportive, approachable, and keen on teaching, with a mix of senior and younger lecturers.

They utilize effective teaching aids such as PowerPoint presentations and emphasize both theoretical and practical knowledge. There are frequent internal assessments conducted every month, along with three major internal exams before the annual university exam.
