Ans. Bennett University is known for its engineering courses. The B.Tech CSE program available at Bennett University spans 4 years duration with a total of 160 credits. Additionally, there are 14 minor specialisations available under B.Tech CSE so that students can choose their preferred course. Interested students must have passed Class XII with Physics and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks or a minimum score of 24 with IB Board. The selection process includes the consideration of scores of the best three subjects in Class XII Boards.  Curriculum: Bennett University B.Tech CSE is offered under the School of Computer Science and Engineering Technology. The course offers flexible and modular choices of Minors, Honours, Open Electives, Audit Courses, Two Internships of 8 and 16 weeks respectively, and a one-year internship in the final year. Students are also encouraged to participate in Competitions, Hackathons, Clubs and Societies.  Fee Structure: The one-time registration fee for B.Tech CSE at Bennett University is INR 45,000 and the total course fee is INR 16.15 Lakhs (including registration fee) for 4 years.  Scholarships: Applicants of B.Tech CSE at Bennett University can also avail of scholarships based on their merit in Class XII (Best of 3), JEE Mains 2024, and IB. Ans. Bennett University is a better choice for pursuing a B.Tech degree as the university offers B.Tech courses in a wide range of specializations whereas Nirma University only provides B.Tech in eight specializations. The highest package of Nirma University is INR 50.15 LPA offered by Google whereas the highest salary offered by Bennett University to a B.Tech CSE student is INR 1.2 CPA. Nirma University follows reservation criteria based on which it offers seats to B.Tech students and the fees per annum for the All India Category is INR 2,29,600.  Bennett University's B.Tech fee structure is comparatively higher than Nirma University but it also offers placement assistance through various industrial collaborations like IBM, Apple, Unity, SAP, Microsft, etc, Selection at Bennett University is simply based on merit in Class XII scores for B.Tech degree courses whereas B.Tech applicants of Nirma University have to appear in JEE Mains Paper I additionally with qualifying marks in Class XII.  However, the choice of University also depends on Location, Preferred Specialization, Fee Structure, Placement Scenario, etc. Read more

Ans. I did my BTech from LPU in 2023. I can say it is one of the top private universities to do BTech. I say this because of 3 main reasons: Skilled Faculty Infrastructure & High-class facilities Latest Technology LPU’s BTech CSE department has tied-up Google, CompTIA and various other automation companies. Ans. VIT, SRM, Amity, Amrita, LPU, KIIT and MAHE are all good universities. As a BTech CSE Student at LPU, I can share a personal account. LPU has ranked amongst the Top 50 in the NIRF Engineering Rankings. The B.Tech CSE course is one of the top UG Engineering courses offered by LPU. The course curriculum is updated and well-structured. It meets the global industrial needs, and is taught by a good faculty. The teaching staff is knowledgeable and guided us well. It competes with top Indian as well as International universities.  Apart from the above mentioned, some of the other points as a student of LPU, why BTech CSE is a good option here, are listed below. LPU has tie ups with various universities and organizations. It has really good labs with the updated softwares to provide students with the necessary practical exposure alongside their theory. Students also get access to online study material such as research journals, annual reports, and other business dissertations for their projects. The placement record and the right mix of curricular and extracurricular activities makes LPU a preferred university. The highest salary package offered often goes up to 40 LPA and above. Ans. I am a second year B.Tech CSE student at LPU. Here is the official data for 2023 B.Tech CSE placements at the university- The  average package  for B.Tech CSE/IT was  INR 7 LPA  in 2023.  The 2023 branch/course-wise highest package is not available, but the  overall highest package was INR  54.75 LPA. During the 2023 placements, a  B.Tech CSE  student received a job offer of  INR 52.08 LPA from Microsoft. Here is a list of top recruiters and the CTC offered by them during 2023 B.Tech CSE placements at LPU- Company Name CTC offered Role Arcesium 40 LPA - Texas Instruments 32 LPA - UKG 32 LPA Software engineer Infineon 24-25 LPA - Natwest 16 LPA Software engineer Finxera 16 LPA Associate java/nodejs These were the B.Tech CSE placement highlights for LPU. Ques. Which one is better for a BTech (CSE): Lovely Professional University or Galgotias University?

Ans. I did my BTech CSE from Galgotias University, but I will put forth an unbiased opinion.  Here are some factors to compare the two universities- LPU has good facilities and infrastructure, but I would suggest you opt for Galgotias since it will offer you better opportunities and academics. Fees-  The tuition fee for B.Tech CSE at Galgotias is  INR 1.54 lakh per annum . The exam fee is  INR 15,000 per annum .  At LPU, the BTech CSE course fee is  INR 1.40 lakh per semester . The exam fee is  INR 4,500 per semester . But LPU offers various scholarships to meritorious students. Getting decent grades is also comparatively easier at Galgotias. Management-  LPU has over 10,000+ students in total, which is why it’s difficult for the college management to cater to the needs of each and everyone. Ques. Which gives better placement in cse, LPU or KIIT?

Ans. Both KIIT and LPU are considered as top private universities for engineering. But I can only speak in favour of LPU as I have done my education at LPU. I interacted with my friends at LPU who have done their BTech CSE. More than 500+ recruiters visit the campus for placements every year. BTech CSE placements at LPU recorded INR 42 lakhs as the highest salary package. Additionally, LPU had 110+ recruiters from top colleges like IITs, IIMs, and NITs. The highest monthly stipend for any kind of internship at LPU is around 80k. Tanya Arora, a final year BTech CSE student secured INR 42 lakh job offer from Microsoft. Amazon also offered INR 28 lakhs package. Utkarsh secured a position at Google HQ in Silicon Valley with a package of INR 1 crore.  This I hope proves my point that LPU is better for CSE than KIIT.Read more
