NIT Mizoram B.Tech Civil Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college offers a supportive academic environment with well-qualified faculty, including PhD scholars and professors, contributing to students' success. The marking scheme is favorable, with two major exams per semester that are weighted nearly equally. In 2024, the highest placement package reached approximately 27 lakh, with the average at around 10 lakh. The placement rate in 2023 was 87%, with prestigious companies like PayPal, Infosys, Tata, Microsoft, and Google recruiting on campus.

Civil branch students reported an average placement package of 15 lakh, with a 90% placement rate. Internships and placements start from the third year, although students can pursue internships from the second year. Maintaining a CGPA and percentage of at least 75% is important for successful placement. The tuition fee for general category students with an annual income over Rs 5 lakh is Rs 72,000.
