Likes

They take a keen interest in teaching students and love to solve students' doubts.
The placement and training cell at nit uk is doing great works in past years with helping students get better opportunites in their 3rd year by getting interships from various companies to kickstart their careers out in the real world.
The thing that i like is how the students celebrate every festival

Dislikes

Mess food is really bad for the fee we pay, with little variety.
Hostels are good if you have a good company, but the mess food is disaster, you will get trouble to habitate yourself for the food.
One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.

Infrastructure is quite good and spacious
Teachers are very helpful and full of knowledge
Labs are equipped with modern technology and instrument

Dislikes

Playgrounds and gym facilities are not that much evolved
Transportation facilities for far living students is not that much good
Canteen facility should be provided more

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course includes optimization techniques, finite element method, pavement anyalsis and design, geometric design of pavement. Teachers are very helpful and kind and are full of resources. Teaching method is very simplified.
