Likes

They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

All about NIT Agartala

Likes

affordable hostel fee, i.e. 30k, which i think is ok for 4 months(1 sem = 4 months)
roads connects all the places in the campus
sports complex have is huge area, enough for all

Dislikes

poor electricity supply during rainy seasons
administration takes too long time to review, fix or maintain things

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

As a Biotechnology student experience at NIT Agartala

Likes

Things I like about my college is that social interaction is very good. There are many clubs as per your expertise you can join any clubs like dance singing coding buisness, drama , helping poor childrens , picture clicking many more.
My department faculties are very helpful and cooperative, they help us in everything,there teaching quality is very good aslo my faculty advisor has been selected to top 2% researcher of the world. So faculty is very good.
My college gives intership opportunities in many IITs and they helps us to get internships at good places and placement at IT sector is Good many companies comes every year. The boy girl ratio is 10:3

Dislikes

The college need to improve my department labs and should keep vast amount of books for my course and have to improve the mess food
It sector placement is good but my branch core placement is very less so they have to improve the placement for core branches.
The things I don't like is that my department is very far from the hostel I need to walk long distance everyday

Placement Experience:

First of all placement in IT sector is Good but core placement is almost no .you have to do higher studies no other options is there if off campus placement is no there. So I suggest if you have interest in biology than you please come to this field

Exploring the NITA college

Likes

Faculty's way of teaching and very labs are clean and students are very brave
They will support in every social activities including the game and study purpose
The placement service of too good and course development is very effective

Dislikes

Management of hostel is not good and food also too bad sometimes
They are not provided the good internet connection
Not have the proper parking area for cycles and bicycle

Placement Experience:

AT the NITA, placemenst are starts from the 7th semesters, companies like TCS, Wipro and infosys visit and average package is moderate around like 7.5 to 9lpa and Highest is 43 lpa. Around 97% students are placed and if not i plan for business

Likes

Very good campus and infrastructure to explore
Always finds Auto in the campus for town visit whether it is 11PM or 4AM.
Boys and girls ratio is also very good but it depends upon the branches as well

Dislikes

Got very less help from Placement cell as they are unable to convince the company for lower branches .
Hostel in timings for girls is around 8PM and Boys are 11PM after that they are not allowed to the hostel without having a conversation with warden and Parents .

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem ,we are eligible for campus placements Around 200+ companies visited for 2025 batch and around 1100+ (ongoing) offers have been received Highest Package is around 50LPA from Amazon for SDE role and Average is around 9LPA. Around 80% of students getting placed every year. My plans are to gains some work experience and then pursue MBA

Nit agartala a life to remember

Likes

The vast campus and the hostels are nice too
The hospital takes good care for students
Even hospitals in the state have free treatment for nit students

Dislikes

College is in outskirts far from main city
Not many restaurants near and limited food option
Less general category students present there

From 7 th semester the students are applicable for placement Amazon phonpe microsoft has visited our college and only this year 17 students were placed in phone pe 60 percent of students get placed My plans after getting a degree is to give gate exam

Infrastructure is well built with decent amount of facility
Sports complex is too good and very well maintained
Obviously you got the national importance tag here

Dislikes

Mess food and overall cuisine of north east india
Faculties are not upto the mark and are not well trained
Too much busy schedule for daily classes

Placement Experience:

From third year students are offered with internships and feom forth year student's here get placements Here the average package is of 10 lakhs per anum and median salary is of 8 lakhs per anum and about 80.36 students get placed

placement of collage is also good if prepare for placement then you will get placement according to your choice.
courses are desined well so students not feel to much pressure on himself.

Dislikes

all the students are doing same thing which is coding they are not thinking about there knowlege.
The mess food of quality is not same all the time.

Placement Experience:

In our collage after 7 semestr students are eligble to sit in a campus placement.the genrally companies are visited in our campus are like paytm, infosis , google ,microsoft, tata, tcs, .the number of offered is max 3 you can take after 3 offer you are not able to sit in campus placement . the average package is 7 lakh per annum and highest is 55 lakh per annum. the total number of percentage of students placed is 80 percent .

All About Bio Tech In NIT AGARTALA

Likes

Great campus. The college has very big campus and is also very beautiful
Sports complex . Nit Agartala has the biggest sports complex among all nits and is also very big and enjoyable
Festival. The college cultural festival like moksha and technical festival are the best.

Dislikes

Less opportunities for low branches as few core companies come for placements for core companies
Mostly tech companies come for placement and very come for core placements
Vehicles should be allowed for dayscholars in the campus. Its not allowed thats i dislike the most

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best among the engineering college in the state. From 4th year we can sit for placements and start preparing from the 3rd year. Many companies visited the campus and made offers, few names are maruti, infosys, hdfc bank, etc. The percentage of student that gets placed are almost 80-90% . The average package of last year was 6-7lakhs per annum and the highest package was 62lakhs per annum. Most of the students plans are to get placed from the college.

I like the infrastructure of the NIT AGARTALA.
Campus is full of greenery and birds. And the nature too
Every season in this place is feels like a heaven

Dislikes

There is no availability of malls and food stalls
Transportation facilities are little bit difficult
National Institute of Technology is in the outside of the city.

Placement Experience:

In the semester of 7th / 8th we would get placement offers for a particular degree or a branch. In the records CSE department got approximately 50 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students getting placements increasing every year.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
