The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

The management of the college event holdings and a
The faculty they treat you like there own child weather you are from the bca background or not u will feel the same inside the clsss
Seniors every senior is friendly and we can count on them moreover there are no ragging if there is any senior will be there to help and college will take a serious action

Dislikes

There are some flaws in clusters as there are a lot of people
Outlets are expensive a little can cut some cost
Hostels are expensive a little adding Extra lakhs of money

Placements are very nice google amazon google pay oaypal and many more industries and MNC's Teachers also help u to get youre dream job and giving you the best LPA making it easy for us to enjoy our lives too

Christ as a college

Likes

Formal uniform for our dress code is nice
The punctuality aspect of our college is nice
Campus and the location of it is favourable

Dislikes

Staffs no empathy towards students some times
Attendance strictness and actions to oversee that is bad
Lack of events for sciences is very bad like we can’t do anything except be in classes

My Experience at “Christ (seems-to-be) University but is actually hell”

Likes

The central campus of Christ University is really great in terms of area
There are a lot of cafeterias and you’ll never run out of things to eat in a cheap price
The fee structure is also Pretty subsidised but the course is not up-to-date

Dislikes

The teachers are extremely bad and they can’t even speak proper English
The college is very mediocre in terms of the core structure
They have unnecessary rules and their attendance criteria is very irritating

Placement Experience:

The placements are still fine but the Annual package that they are offering is very less because the average package is five lakhs per annum and the companies that come in are not that great and the good companies usually only take one student and the others are left with mediocre and start-ups

Life at Christ

Likes

It's a vast campus with lot of place to hangout
Has got lots of cafes inside the campus to go to
The college has got a good ambience and is really eco friendly

Dislikes

The department is the main fact that I hate this
You have to reach the buildings before time
Id cards are mandatory and u have to wear it all the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say for us the syllabus was outdated as we are the last batch who is not under the nep new policy .for our juniors I think it is better and they have to study the important things only where we had to study outdated stuff

The opportunities which college provides
The clubs inside the college for various things

Dislikes

There is a compulsory attendance of 85% which I think is not good
The infrastructure is quite old and I do not like it

I think the course is good and it's curriculum is also designed according to the industry but i think somewhere lacks the practical skills which student requires to get job and also there is no domain specific

the football ground is very good i’m an athlete so i enjoy is a lot
the girls are pretty hot i already found my future wife and we support each other
the faculty is great they always boost you and support you for your best

Dislikes

the security guard is a bit annoying he takes photos of us if we r late to college
the principal is like any other princi he is a trickyto bad students and gives them many chances but for good student he becomes likes a doll
the basketball court it’s covered in cracks and the ball doesn’t pitch properly only

the get placement offers from 4 th year lenovo microsoft fell and all other tech brands visit highest package is 50 lakhs per annum by google 80 percent of students get placements ill start a family with my pretty gf

The BCA course and life at Christ

Likes

It is in the middle of the city giving opportunities
The crowd which comes is really nice and people here are nice
There is a diverse culture here in Christ and events happen really often so it's fun

Dislikes

The attendance is really hectic to maintain (85%)
Have to attend classes like a school student because of attendance
Have to wear formal full week and can't grow hairs long and beard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really relevant with the field up to date and knowledgeable. I would suggest this course plan to anyone who is really interested in computer science field. We learn new technologies often and the changes happen in department quick if there is a change in technology.

teachers where good, classroom were really big and forced was good with the environment
Had proper sports courts for sports pratices with coach
college envrionemnt was overall good with all experiences

Dislikes

Attdence was 85 and that was tough to maintain
Very Strict rules and laws for college students

As per the aspects we covered mostly all the languages in coding world and hat was really good, we had electives in animation and design fields. The curruculum prepares us for the real world. we use to have four exams per years CIA's ESE , mid terms and end terms

My college

Likes

I liked the events which happens in the college
Campus is good and you can enjoy at peacock circle at the college
Not all the teachers are good but you have to be cautious

Dislikes

The college is a little bit strict about rules
Campus is still in development but if you are joining after 2024, it will be better
You have to wear your Id card everywhere to get entry

Placement Experience:

I don't know the about the companies but I know some name like l&t edutech and IBM. It doesn't depend on percentage, it depends on your skills. Placement happens in after 5th sem. My plans is to become a freelancer in cybersecurity.

Few things to know before joining Christ University

Likes

We have lots of seminars with many resource persons
The campus is really very good and the management is also very amazing
We have lots of events in the college which keeps us engaged

Dislikes

The college is very strict in terms of rules and regulations.
Have a lot of procedure if you by chance fail in any exam
You have to maintain minimum 85% attendance for writing your exam

Placement Experience:

The placements starts from 3rd year which is from 5th sem. The placement record for BCA is not that good this time maybe due to recent recession but i see many companies coming like accenture, IBM for placements.

No, Christ University Bangalore does not offer a standalone B.Sc. Bioinformatics program as a separate undergraduate course. Their official UG science offerings include B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, and related life-science combinations, which may include some bioinformatics topics within the curriculum.
