Uncovered: What you should know

Likes

Academic environment: wide variety of courses and electives
Social and campus life : Friendly and diverse student community
Campus facilities: well maintained library, hostel, good cafeteria, sports facilities

Placement Experience:

In 3 sem the students get eligible for placement. When I was completing my PG program many private banks visited there for placement like HDFC bank and Axis Bank. The package generally they offer is about 3 to 4 lakh per annum according to your qualification and interview. My plan after the degree to be ibps so officer

One of the best college in haryana

Likes

Girls equality with boys. Ratio always seems equally.
Nature of faculty members towards students.
Atmosphere and surrounding for study in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From curriculum and coursework, students learnt lots of basics of concept and gets clarity on each topics. By this clarity, as a students i got command on specific topics, by which i start my masters and further on.

The campus life at cdlu

Likes

The faculty here is one of the best it has grest experience teachers are very familiar to students and let them feel like family
Sports is given very much attention here wtudents are gone for the sports upper level

Dislikes

Basic facilities are not one of the best here its compromising for many of the students
Old buildings are here the buildings need renovation but it does not work

I had done firstly B.com here and now going for M.com i am i nfinal year of my course. My course is related to commerce as i am targeting of going to banking line after doing my masters i am also thinking about of going for ugc net for doing phd and becoming a doctorate

Canteen is neat and cleans proper food and materials.
Teacher and well educated and knowledgeable.
Water facility the water and bathroom are clean.

Dislikes

There is very less placement for the students.
The result system is very slow results of semester not provided fast.

Because in graduation I have completed bcom so I decided to do mcom there are all the facilities for students and students ratio in the class is 60. Teachers are well qualified and after 6 months semester exams are there.

My journey

Likes

I like the library part of our university .it will give us many kinds of books which students wants to get and easily available for students there is very good infrastructure for sitting for students . Students are geeti g theris books and study .
I also like canteen part of our university.
I like my department because of aou staff.

Dislikes

I didn't like electricity system it was quite bad.
I didn't like parking area because there is no security.
I didn't like our building infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course gives me a specialization in my field .it enhance my career in the field of marketing. I get very good facilities in this course. There was a very difficult section of the exam which is very hard to pass but I tried my best and pass my examination.

Remarks:

The positive thing for my university is that there are no other university for students in are of 150 km. The only institution for higher studies is cdlu sirsa. The negative thing is there is no placement cell.

My brother recently graduated from Chaudhary Devi Lal University. Here is his review in brief.

The overall infrastructure of the university is average at best. The library and auditorium facilities are quite good.
The faculties are well experienced. Some of the faculties are exceptionally good.
You will get basic amenities on campus. There is also a shopping complex inside the university campus.

Although CDLU ranks below many of the universities in Haryana such as KUK, GJU, etc, it is a decent option to pursue UG courses.
