Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU), Bilaspur, offers the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) program through its own Department of Physical Education, Yoga, and Sports Science. This full-time, two-year undergraduate course admits 100 students annually and is not offered through affiliated colleges. Admission is based on the CUET-PG exam, with a maximum age limit of 27 years. The program is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and follows the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Therefore, GGU does not offer the B.P.Ed. course through any affiliated colleges. Prospective students must apply to the university's Department of Physical Education, Yoga, and Sports Science.
