Admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) in India is highly competitive, requiring success in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) in Visakhapatnam is one of the NLUs where an applicant with an All India Rank of 2391 eventually secured admission. The university has a young, qualified faculty with a favorable faculty-to-student ratio, offering updated courses in criminal and corporate law among others. DSNLU's curriculum includes projects, viva voce, and exams, each subject totaling 100 marks.

Fees include Rs 1,55,000 for the first year plus Rs 35,000 for the mess, with a 10% annual increase until the 5th year, excluding security deposits.
