- It is a very popular fest with great enthusiasm shown by the students and the faculty.
- This university provides us scholarship and infrastructure is very much good .
- Many other facilities. teacher are very good and excellent. quality of teaching is very very good as compared to other university

- Bus transpotrtaion system is not good as vast no. of students are present
- Food of the hostel was very poor and they r not working on that
- No opportunity for internships from college side we have to arrange from our side for internships, mostly private companies get visit to the college with very less placements, worst college in terms of placements

- Academics and Quality Faculty- Good faculty and expertise faculty are there.Well Equipped labaratories with Air conditoned and A big librarary opens 24 hours for the students .
- Infrastructure- college has 14 hostels for boys and 9 hostels for girls and it is the odisha safest hostel for girls . Every hostel are provided with free WiFi 24/7
- Social Interaction & Campus Life - It is a ragging free campus where seniors and juniors all stay together and help each other in ther academic life .
Dislikes
- Hostel and Mess- Little bit untidy because of lot of children mo change in the food timetable
- Placement - with a average package of 4-5 lpa
- Busy Schedule- there are pre placement classes for students in 3rd year and 4th year which will pack your day
Placement Experience:
In GIET there are pre placement classes are available for students who entered in 3rd year . Which help them in accuring good campus and good package. Classes like aptitude ,English, Technical are done in pre placement classes.It is compulsory for every one to take part in the classe with attendance of 90%.
It offer a average package of 3lpa to core students and 4.5lpa to cse .
It has achievment of best university in Eastern India . Where placement percentage is 100%.
Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Surya international , Piagio etc.
