• The campus life at the University of Essex was vibrant and inclusive. There was always some or the other events happening. International food festivals, cultural nights, and Diwali and Holi celebrations which were organized by the Indian Society, music gigs , career fairs and charity fundraising events. The Students Union supports over 100 societies and clubs ranging from sports like cricket , badminton , football to cultural societies such as the Bollywood dance society, south asian society. I was a part of the Deabate society and the Indian society . This was a great way to meet like minded people and feel at home. Sports facilities are excellent and I occasionally used the gym and joined football games too.

• I personally was a part of the Debate Society and the Indian Society, which was a great way to meet like-minded people and feel at home. Sports facilities are excellent, and I occasionally use the gym and join casual football games too.

• Initially I stayed at uni accommodation, and rent was 399 pounds; later on I made friends locally and shifted to a friend's house and was paying 320 pounds as rent.

• The campus has an amazing library with access to 1000's of journals and books.

• I rented through Facebook and my monthly costs were around £1200

• Campus life is good. Its library was a good place to sit and read and gave us access to all those resources, which are not available at IIT. Sport facilities are top-notch, where sport staff and equipment are up to date.

• Accommodation is excellent. It was given through the uni website and all other stuff is available within the uni. For 1 week, rent was around 300 pounds.

• I have joined the course via online mode. I will not be able to comment on it.
• The campus was shown in a video during induction class. It was huge and beautiful
• Students of various nationalities have been studying since decades and a lot of importance is given to Indian students, as scholarships are provided.
• In online curriculum itself there two from UK, one from Japan, etc.

• There is a student bodies which can also be joined by online students.
• They are very helpful. They reply to mail within minutes and They are also available for one-to-one interaction.
• So need to select date and time, fill out a form and discuss your issues with them

Essex Students Union organized many fun events, get-togethers, and welcome parties for newcomers, and honestly, it used to be really fun and diverse. With so many students from different countries, everyone brought in their input and spice to make the events more wonderful. I met so many students from India and also made friends with fellows from other countries. Students across the globe behave the same, I have realized :) When it comes to university infrastructure, it's massive and huge. In the middle of the nature and greenery, is our beautiful campus with an overlooking lake. We have a campus cat named Pebbles who is recently being honoured with a statue of its own. Library, and computer labs, all are huge and amazing spots to learn and even chill with friends. The most beautiful thing about our campus is the Faith Center where people from different religions can focus on praying, and meditating, along with a dedicated medical room, sports arena and big theatre.

Luckily, I had my family here, so I opted to stay with them and no extra amount was incurred on hostels or flats.

Campus life at Essex is dynamic. Diverse clubs, engaging events, and ample extracurriculars enhance the student experience. The well-equipped research facilities, extensive libraries, robust WiFi, and top-notch sports facilities contribute to a holistic and enriching academic environment.

My accommodation abroad at Essex is excellent. The infrastructure is modern, with shared rooms providing a comfortable living experience. Alternative housing options are available, and average rentals are reasonable, considering the facilities provided. The cost aligns well with the quality of living.

Accommodation is very good that meets every student's requirements.
