- Well-equipped studios, labs, library, and modern campus facilities.
- Active fests, events, clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- The overall course and hostel fees are relatively very expensive.
- More internships, site visits, and practical industry interaction would be helpful.
- Architecture involves long studio hours and frequent submissions. And too much pressure from the teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the curriculum around 4/5, as it covers design, theory, technical subjects, building construction, software, practical work, site visits, and presentations, giving students a good overall understanding of architecture.
Fees and Financial Aid
₹0.67 lakh per semester (₹1.34 lakh per year) for the non-sponsored category, making approximately ₹6.70 lakh for the 5-year course, excluding hostel/other charges; fees can be revised by the university.
Campus Life
My overall campus experience has been positive, with a friendly and diverse student crowd, active clubs and events, and good infrastructure. I have also enjoyed participating in creative activities and college events, which helped me interact with students from different courses.
Admission
I chose Amity University Haryana because of its good infrastructure, location, faculty, campus facilities, and overall exposure to architecture. Compared with other colleges, I found the campus environment and facilities more suitable for my learning. The admission process was straightforward and included application, eligibility verification, entrance/selection process, and document submission.
Faculty
The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, with a course structure combining design studios, theory, practical work and site visits. Exams include internal assessments, assignments, presentations, studio work and semester-end exams, with marks divided across these components.
Night Life
The campus nightlife is fairly quiet, but students can enjoy cafés, food outlets, and nearby places around Gurugram, especially on weekends. And go for the night walk with the friends and relax in the hostel plaza
