The B.Tech curriculum at Galgotias University is relevant and covers both fundamental concepts and industry oriented subjects. The curriculum helps student to build a strong foundation for placements and higher studies.
Internships Opportunities
Galgotias University offers good placement and internship opportunites through it's training and placement cell, which regularly shares the openings with students via the departmental groups and stipend generally range from 5000 to 30,000 per month.
Placement Experience
The placements at Galgotias University is quite decent. Many prestigious comapnies visits the campus every year for hiring, including Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, EY, PwC, Adobe and many more. The placemnt cell provides professional readiness training in every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fee i paid for B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics is 1,64,000 (batch of 2023-27). Along with that, Caution Money and Miscellaneous fee will sum upto 3000 that is for first year only. The University offers various scholarships based on merit, graduation marks, enterance examination score and defence personnels' wards and also for single parent ward.
Campus Life
The overall experience has been positive so far. University provides a good balance between academics and social and cultural college life. Campus life at Galgotias is quite vibrant, with active student clubs and societies.
Admission
I chose Galgotias University beacuse it offers a good combination of academics, placement opportunities, infrastructure and affordability as compared to some of the other private universities i considered.
Faculty
The faculty members are decent, supportive and experienced. They are approchable during and after the lectures. The faculty provides support for internships and projects. University has supportive faculty with good teaching methods.
Night Life
The nightlife around Galgotias University is calm but enjoyable. Most students spend their evening in the campus cafeterias, food courts, common areas or with friends in the hostel. The central library remains open until the evening. .
