This is the best college overall

The subjects provided are really helpful for real world understanding and the ability of the faculty to make us understand has encouraged me to take this course. Also all the subjects including the non technical ones help with real world understanding. Maybe the open book system can be removed from the curriculum as it drops the overall score of the students. The exams are taken in a way such that 2 units are covered in (Continuous Assessment Exam) CAE1 and 2 units are covered in CAE2. And then the 4 units along with the 5th unit is covered in the End Semester Exam. All this is done within the span of 4-5 months. The exams can be said to be easy-medium.

Cognizant-12000 Nokia-30000 Amazon-50000 NatWest-50000 and many more. Various roles are offered such as developer, trainee, tester, sales, services, intern. The outcome of the projects provided by different companies have different outcomes.

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The tuition fee I paid for all the four year in total is Rs 11,40,000. The hostel fee was Rs 1,00,000 for one year( non-ac ) room. The total placement fee paid by me was Rs 30,000 approximately. A registration fee of 1000 was also paid by me.

The Culturals, Hostel Day, Women's day, any other events that are hosted by college are very fun to attend. Lots of exposure through various technical events. Wide range of books and journals available in library. Lots of extracurricular activities offered as well. Many student run groups and clubs are also there with active programs and participations.

The rooms are spacious and big and are cleaned on a daily basis but lots of rooms have seepage issues, window broken, bugs, etc. but overall good. The registration is done in first come first serve basis. The locality of college has many pgs for boys and girls. So good. Meals in the college are too good with variety of foods.

I chose this college over others because it has a level of strictness which is good. If a college is not strict, then students will not feel the pressure to work hard. I didnot apply for any other college as this college was my first preference and as soon as I got here, I felt very happy. The admission process is quite easy. The form has to be filled and submitted with proofs to the administrator whoever is responsible for admissions. I came through management.

The faculty to student ration is also nice as in if some faculty is not available to take class there will be an alternative faculty to be there in the class. In my opinion, faculties like Dr. Anto Praveena Ma'am, Dr. Sujihelen Ma'am, Dr. Karpura Dheepan sir , Dr. Sudha S Ma'am ,and many more. They are so helpful to all students and always listen to our problems. They also think from the students perspective and are ready to help them even if they don't know the student. Some facilities such as Miss Santhasheela is very rude with students and always tries to prove her point without actually listening to us. There are an average of 5 exams per semester including labs. These exams are easy to clear if given minimal efforts. Some students(maybe 3-4 from each section) are unable to clear the subjects due to attendance shortage, or they don't study well.

The canteens are really nice with wide range of food. Hostel timings for girls are till 6pm and for boys 7pm. No one can go out after 3:15 within the campus to meet friends but can go for outing outside campus. After college there are hangout spots such as food streets and restaurants near college but there is nothing inside for hanging out after 3:15.
