Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this MBA program for its industry-focused curriculum, live projects, and internships. Exams are moderate and well spaced. More industry workshops and practical training would further improve learning.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers internships in companies like KPMG, Accenture, and ITC across all domains and specialisations. Students also work on live projects, research papers, and business focussed assignments.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent, with an average package of 8-10 LPA. Top recruiters include KPMG, Accenture, Amazon, and ITC. Most students get placed with competitive salary packages, & internships help improve employability.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees is 20 Lakhs. They offer various scholarships to students depending on merit, girl child, alumni, etc. The fees are different for different MBA programs, ranging from 16 lakhs to 22 lakhs.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant with cultural fests, clubs, and sports activities throughout the year. The library is well stocked, and classrooms are decent, and student clubs provide excellent opportunities for learning & networking.
Admission
I chose UPES due to its value for money (scholarships), industry-oriented curriculum, and decent placement prospects. The admission process was smooth and based on GD/PI performance and entrance exam scores.
Faculty
The faculty are good, well-read, and helpful. The curriculum is relevant and helps students gain industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is generally high for general students.
Interview Experience
The interview was held after the results of different competitive exams were released. The selection was basis the minimum criteria for selection plus the student's performance in the personal interview round.
Night Life
Campus & hostel timings are regulated, with some restrictions for hostel residents. Many students stay in off-campus accommodations for greater flexibility. Cafeterias are popular hangout spots, and the locality is safe & student friendly.
