Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would like to rate my course 10 out of 10 because the best part is when I go for internship for industrial training I can actually connect what I studied in class with what is happening in real factory like when I saw paracetamol manufacturing process or the equiplan treatment plant I already knew the basic concept from my syllabus so the shows the curriculum is doing is job in preparing us for the real world. I choose this course visible is because I wanted to something that gives both chemistry knowledge and industrial exposure together regular MSC chemistry too much theoretical to me but this course has practical and angle so it which I like. The improvement I would like to suggest is I feel some topics should be updated because industries moving very fast nowadays and few things in syllabus fills little outdated also more industrial visits and live projects should be included so students get more hands on experience. About exam we have unit test after every unit then internal theory and internal practical exam the time duration between them is ofly around 1.5 to 2 months.

Internships Opportunities

5

For internship in our college there are two types if you want to go with yourself you can do by yourself and the other one is college can send you to any company for training . It is mandatory part of our MS industrial chemistry course which I think is really good because you got actual real world exposure I personally did by implant training at Farmson basic drugs limited which is located at nendesri, Vadodara it is pharmaceutical company and the experience was generally very good the training was for around 6 weeks and during that time I got visit like learn about different departments like production quality control and quality assurance I show the actual manufacturing process of paracetamol from material to final product which was very interesting I also got exposure acidic acid plant and understood the distillation process in real setting. If you can't find a company on your own the college helps to find the opportunity and guiding students about where to apply type fund is not always guaranteed and depends on the company but the learning you get is very valuable. Over all the Indian President is very very good and I feel every MSc I see students should take it seriously but it gives us real confidence and knowledge that not text books can give you.

Placement Experience

5

About the placement in our course industrial chemistry there are 100% placement for each and every students our faculty brings so many company to our class here last year there are 60 students on all 60 students got their placements from college and the minimum package everyone got is 2.8 lakhs and the highest package students got his 4 lakhs. The company is not just any companies they are well reputed like a Lupin limited then Zydus limited Reliance limited unison all the Pharma companies chemical companies and any other companies they come here in our campus and take the students with them. They to students for PUC production and pcbl comes for pua also so we can go in QC QA and production department and also in RND so our industrial overseas build like that so in every department we can go.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per the fee on the last year the fee was on based on your CGPA means higher the CGPA you got lower the fish you have to wait as per I remember the fees for CGPA of 5 to 6 has to pay 45000 INR per sem and CGPA of 6 to 7 has to pay 42000 INR and CGPA of 7 to 9 has to pay 39000 INR per sem and CGPA above 9 have to pay 36000 INR per sem and also there is an exam fees of total 3000 INR per sem so for total 4 sem it's 12000 INR and also one time entrance fees of 15000 INR in university you have to pay and also from this years on they fix the fees for new students to 40000 INR per sem for all students and the one time university fees is increased to 20000 INR and currantly no data about exam fees so in genral Total of 200000 INR fees for 2 years .

Campus Life

5

The overall experience is quite good first thing I want to mention is the infrastructure is really nice the campuses so many trees everywhere which makes the environment very press and peaceful the streets and pathway inside campus are very clean you will not find garbage lying around which a personal appreciate a lot. Now one thing which makes me disappointed very much is the college has no canteen inside it which is the little inconvenient sometimes when you have long hours and you feel hungry between lectures it becomes a problem but Vidyanagar is a large town so there are eating zone nearby outside campus. Coming to festival and events this is where I star college is doing their best every single festival is celebrated in college weather its Diwali Navratri independence Day republic Day or any other location college make sure to celebrated properly which students. And our university held a big events like Uganda notes of which are organise that University liver are absolutely next level they are the events where each and every colleges under University comes and takes participants in it. Library has a large number of books in it means they have a good collection of books and the reference book which we find or we need to find our also available it there.

Admission

After completing my B.Sc., I wanted to pursue an MBA in Ahmedabad. I applied for MBA admission, but I could not clear the entrance exam, so I did not get admission there. Finally, I decided to join the M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry course at ISTAR. I think I could not crack the exam because I had only three months to prepare, while the exam is quite difficult and usually requires around one year of preparation. For admission, first, you need to visit the college and complete registration on the university website. The registration fee was ₹1,000. After that, you have to upload your documents and other required details. Then, you need to pay a one-time university fee of ₹15,000, which has now increased to ₹20,000. Once the process is completed, your admission is confirmed

Faculty

So here in this collage i honestly feels like it is honestly a good place if you are doing m.sc industrial chemistry because the course itself is very unic and different from regular MSC chemistry we don't give study chemistry year our syllabus cover so many things like engineering concept technology is material safety data sheet quality assurance and many more industrial tropics for actual industry not just theory book is knowledge which I feel the best part of this course. Now about faculty is there are around 4 to 5 faculty members in our department I don't know about any other department and the ratio is fine most of them are approachable and if you go and ask them out they will sit and explain properly one faculty really like is putty organic chemistry and industrial processes very nonrenechable person and explain with real example from industry which makes it very easy to understand another faculty handles pharmaceutical topic is also very good very practical approaching in teaching care about students and you can feel it. Exam system in our college is like this after every unit get finished there is a unit test so you cannot afford to be lazy through semester then there are internal exam separate report theory and practical both practical internal is very hard. And also same goes for theory internal paper and there is a external papers of which are theories and practicals which are also hard you need to do your hard work to past exams.

Night Life

the city is too clean so the overall experience it is 10 out of 10 cos students are focusing on their studies no destruction for them only they need to do is studies. But not having those things that doesn't me students not having fun after college the main hangovers what after evening in the local food stalls and small cafes and restaurants around Vallabh Vidyanagar areas students usually gather there have Maggi snacks and just chill and talk that is the most common things students to hear after a long day or classes. Hostel students have more of a campus business chill in their rooms rope top of hostels common areas and that kind of things day scholars like me go back home after evening.

Other Applied Colleges

IIMA - Indian Institute of Management | Master of Business Administration [MBA]
