Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum as good and relevant. It covers important topics related to the field and helps in building basic knowledge as well as practical understanding. The inclusion of projects, presentations, and workshops makes it more useful and comprehensive. However, I feel that some more updated content and advanced topics could be added to make it even better and more industry-oriented.
Internships Opportunities
'My college provides internship opportunities through its placement and training cell. Students get guidance for resumes, interviews, and skill development. Internships are available in fields like web development, software, and data-related work. Both online and offline options are available, and some are part of the course. These internships help students gain practical experience and improve job chances.
Placement Experience
The placements of my college are good. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, and students get opportunities to start their careers. The college also supports students by organizing training sessions, workshops, and proper guidance for interviews. The college focuses on improving students’ skills and making them job-ready. Students who perform well and work hard are able to get good placement opportunities. Overall, the placement support is helpful, and the college provides a good platform for students to build their careers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for the course is around ?1,10,000 to ?1,20,000. The total fee for the complete 3-year course is about ?3,57,000. I am studying through the DRCC (Bihar Student Credit Card) scheme, which provides a loan facility to cover education expenses. Under this scheme, students can get up to ?4 lakh for their studies
Campus Life
My college is a great place for learning and self-development. I am currently in my second year, and my journey so far has been very positive and full of new experiences. The teachers here are very supportive and understanding. They listen to students patiently and always try to help us improve. The college also organizes IT workshops and provides free Spoken Tutorial exams, which are very useful for developing practical skills. The environment of the college is friendly and encouraging. Various festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm. During Holi, we set up stalls and enjoy together. Saraswati Puja is especially meaningful, as students collect funds and the director contributes an equal amount. Half of the money is used for the celebration, and the remaining half is used to help underprivileged children, which teaches us the value of sharing and responsibility. Sports activities are also given equal importance. Both boys and girls actively take part in games like kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, and running. These activities make college life more active and enjoyable. When I first joined the college, I lacked confidence and felt nervous speaking in front of others. My English was also weak. However, within one year, I have seen a great improvement in myself. I feel more confident now and can express my ideas much better than before. Classes are conducted regularly, and we are required to give presentations and complete projects, which help us learn in a practical way. There are also many clubs, such as music, dance, drama, and drawing, where students can explore their interests and talents. Another positive aspect of the college is that students can directly approach the director if they face any problem. In the computer lab, guides are available who help students step by step. Overall, my college has played an important role in my personal and academic growth. It has helped me become more confident, skilled, and independent.
Admission
I chose this college because it focuses on both academic learning and overall development of students. The college has regular classes, which helps in maintaining consistency in studies. It also gives importance to practical learning through real projects and PPT presentations, which improves our understanding and confidence. Another important reason is that the college provides placement opportunities in well-known companies, which is very helpful for building a career. The college is also very active in organizing workshops, seminars, and different activities, especially in the IT field, which helps us learn new skills beyond the syllabus. Apart from academics, the college encourages students to participate in clubs, cultural programs, and sports activities. This makes the environment very positive and engaging. Because of all these reasons, I felt that this college is a better choice for my growth compared to others.
Faculty
The faculty members of my college are supportive and helpful. They explain topics in a simple way and are always ready to solve our doubts. The course structure includes both theory and practical learning. We have regular classes, along with projects and PPT presentations, which help us understand the subjects better. The exam system includes internal and final exams. Internal assessment is based on assignments, presentations, and class performance, while final exams test overall knowledge. The marking scheme is balanced, with marks given for both internal work and written exams.
Night Life
The nightlife around my college is not very active or crowded. It is a peaceful and safe area, which is good for students. Most of the surroundings become quiet in the evening, and there are only a few shops or places open at night. However, students usually spend their time with friends in hostels or nearby areas, talking, studying, or relaxing. So overall, the environment is calm and suitable for focusing on studies rather than nightlife.
