Likes
- I liked about the time that give after class. Our class time was from morning 8 to evening 3 so after that we can use our lab. This helped me to pursue my interested field of study about microcontrollers.
- They also push us to include in various out of class events which provides the confidence to speak and learn about social meeting.
- As a hosteller I had very much good time and I liked the classes after 3 pm where we can finish of the remaining works.
Dislikes
- I disliked the food. It's is ok as I thought everywhere we cannot get nice foods.
- Minimum play area. As we don't have that much big ground and options to play
Course Curriculum Overview
So in the semester leaves it is necessary for us to join some internship and improve our technical skills. This helped us to work on the fields from college days. This made us to pursue our goal with specific path in our mind. Because of this I choose I need to do embedded related work. The curriculum is good and we have seminars to present.
Internships Opportunities
So in tieup with coe most projects from industries where given to the students to work on. Students worked in project from both private and government side. Here they pusht the students to participate on external events like hackathon. Many of them got offer to intenship because of these competition. And every student needs to do coding as this is mandatory. In placemebt wise CIT is very good.
Placement Experience
From start of the 3rd year the students are prepared for placements. We train in general aptitude and soft skills. Our college have tie up with some of the industries. So most of the students gets offer in software side when I joined but currently I see some increase in students getting placed in core companies. I plan to continue my job and I got internship opportunity from MNC company at 3rd year. And I continued here and got offer. Only at exam times I need to go to my college. That's a plus point for me.
Fees and Financial Aid
During my course I paid approximately 2,20,000 per year. This amount included tution fee, hostel fee, training and labotaty charges. Out of the total amount for hostel I paid 1,25,000. The fee structure remained largely stable at the time of my study. However student are advised to verify the latest fee structure . I got admission through TNEA counselling and iam not sure the amount I got.
Campus Life
So we have two important event. One is symposium which is like a competition between department. They provide stalls and events. Both technical nd non technical events. All year student will work together to complete this. Other one is takshashila event where we will celebrate for 3 days. Full fun activities and award ceremony for who done the best in past year. Our college have social groups and clubs also sports related clubs. In technical side we have come where beyond theoretical practices are done. I was in IoT coe which helped me a lot to learn about technologies and how can we work with them. Each student can join their interested coe
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was good. We got 4 person room. We had our own personal cupboards and places to keep our shoes. In each floor we have a space where some special meet with warden win happen. Nice tall building with super view. We get good internet connectivity. Nearby our area there is no pg at all. As for food I can give 3 out of 5. I can't say I liked the food but the food was healthy.
Admission
So I came through cuet counselling and at that time I don't have that much knowledge about the college's. I searched it in google and some online resources. I fixed that I will take ECE course so based on that I prepared a list of colleges for my counselling. I choose my college at 4th before that I put SSN and anna universities. So I got cit. I didn't regret rather I enjoyed studying here. I don't know whether of I got other college will provide me this experience.
Faculty
Ok, so the faculties who teach me was not that hard to interact. They are very friendly with us and explain us the concept whenever we asked them. At exam time they will be very hard and they give lot of study things which is managable. I like all the faculties I know I would get some shouting if I did something wrong. Afterward they will also tell us why did you do that and they care for us. So we have weekly test and monthly test. This is happening when a unit is finished so we can write the semester without any fear. We also have UPC exam which is like a prep exam before semester.
Night Life
So my friends circle got bigger while working out in gym. Before joining the college I don't know what is gym at all. But after I went there it was my perfect and favourite hangout spot. After college hours we can use the gym and all students without seeing the seniority and juniority talks and learn together. We have nice view public area in many cafeterias in the hostel premises. At my time boys should not roam around after 8pm as for girls it is pretty earlier than that.
