- Our chemistry labs are well equipped with good infras and chemicals
- Our teachers are very supportive and give one on one guidance
- Due to more tress in our campus the college is often cold and not very hot
Dislikes
- Some of the washroom facilities are not good and needs to be taken care of
- Some of the fans in our department of chemistry is not working which creates too much chaos
- Water coolers should be there but it is missing in our college
Course Curriculum Overview
•As i more into pharmaceutical freak so i liked the course very much •Some of our skill enhancement course prepare us for our future applications •Everything is good •The frequency is mostly set 1 sessional and final per sem and the exam difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
•No companies offered here as it is a general degree course but many internship programmes (unpaid) are held here. •many projects can be done in some events and show your creativity and workshops are held in which you can show your talent.
Fees and Financial Aid
• yearly fees is 7480 for B.sc •other than the fees no fees is required •same fees and it is govt college so some get fee waiver according to our government rules •NSP scholarship,OBC,SC,ST scholarships etc
Campus Life
•General Freshers(September), College week (feb) programme are held. •we have wide range of books around 43000+ books and e-books •The classes mostly equipped with digital projectors and two of our classes are fully A/C with smart boards ; one in arts one in science block •in college week mostly sports are played and held •yes many clubs are here we can join along with NSS
Admission
•I only applied to this college as my brother also studied here so i know it is a well renowned college •i only applied to this college •We have to apply through samrth portal.H.S exam is the eligibility and the marks and cutoff vary every year
Faculty
•The student to faculty is quite good and our relationship is very good and understanding and they are very much approachable •Sourajyoti and pranjal sir are the best as they very much supportive and approachable •No teacher is unliked as everyone is good but there maybe some ups and downs but they are good •1sessional exam and final exam. Some may fail but mostly don't and the course is relevant
Night Life
•We've college gym 2 canteens library and good area •Since I'm not from hostel i have no idea and campus timings are 7am to 6pm •Near college we've brahmaputra ghat temples , kamakhya temple and many more and the locality is safe at night .
