Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is 8.5/10 in terms of relevance. It follows PCI guidelines.cover both practical and theoretical aspects of pharmacy. I choose this course bcz it includes core subjects which is essential for building strong foundation in pharmaceutical field . curriculum prepare me for basic pharmaceutical roles and higher study like m pharm and research. Frequency of exam is 2 internal and 1 final external per semester.internal are conducted mid sem and external at end.exams are moderate
Fees and Financial Aid
B pharm Year wise fees is around 82000, tution fees is 80000, registration and admission fee is 5000, examination fees is around 1000, no lab and other fees .. government scholarship is available for sc,st,obc students no category wise fees structure bcz it is private university
Campus Life
The university organizes various cultural and technical events throughout the year .annual cultural fest name illuminati usually in February include dance , music, fashion show,and compitition it also includes technical pharmacy related events includ various compitition .sport fest also in this includes indoor and outdoor competition. Library include all pharmacy related books and reference material . classroom are equipped with projectors ,proper seating and ventilation teaching is ppt as well as interactive based .the university offer outdoor and indoor games there are several students clubs such as cultural club,sport club, technical club, pharmacy groups this make the experience even better.
Admission
I applied to a few pharmacy clg in vadodara like parul university, sumandeep vidhyapeeth and other gtu clg ..i received confirmed admission from some clg but I choose ITM sls baroda university based on balance fees structure , good infrastructure and lab, location advantage .i did not face major rejection but my marks were not sufficient for top-tire clg. Admission eligibility is 10+2 science stream with 50% marks .entrance exam accepted is GUJCET . And admission also available based on merits.moderate cutoff / merit based admission .overall my admission experience was smooth and student friendly.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:15to 1:17,which give better interaction between students and teachers.most faculty members are very supportive, especially during lab practical and project work. I like Some teachers in pharmaceutics and pharmacology are very helpful . Each semester include 2 internal exam and 1 external exam .exam are moderate in difficulty around 5-10%student are fail in difficult subject most student are clear exam after rechecking or improvement exam. The curriculum is relevant.
Interview Experience
for the admission into ITM sls baroda university i did not undergo any grp discussion ,interview or written test. the admission process is mainly merit based ,admission is done through 12th science marks and GUJCET marks
Night Life
Nightlife around campus is calm and student friendly rather than very active.most campus facilities like library(7-8PM ), cafeteria (8-7 pm) and gym close by evening.hostel time is around 9:30 -10:00 pm so late night activities are limited campus in timing is 7:30-6 pm . famous hangout place inside the campus is cafeteria and open seating area. Outside place include sayaji garden near cafes nd food spots
