Course Curriculum Overview

5

Chose This Course because it is Autonomous. I got in cse(AI&ML) . So I'm so happy and parents too and more over The inclusion of Design Thinking as a core subject was a big factor. It’s rare for engineering colleges to teach "how to think" and "how to solve social problems" starting from the first year.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships & Projects Review Internship opportunities at KGRCET are decent, with around 85–90% of students participating. Training starts in the 3rd year, and the college has MOUs with companies like Biz Brand Solutions, ADP, and local manufacturing firms. Stipends usually range from ?10,000 per month to certificate-only for core branches. The focus is on Project-Based Learning. For example, CSE students work on AI/ML projects like Smart Chatbots, while Civil students gain site experience in structural detailing using REVIT. The main outcome is gaining industry-ready skills that often lead to full-time placements with packages averaging ?4.5 LPA.

Placement Experience

4

I chose KGRCET for its Autonomous curriculum and K-Hub innovation culture. The green, 14-acre campus is beautiful and perfect for studying.Placements are solid, with companies like TCS and Cognizant offering averages of ?4.5 LPA and highs up to ?16 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Category: OBC Admission Type: TS EAMCET convenor QUOTA Fee Breakdown: The total fee for my B.Tech in [Your Branch, e.g., CSE] is approximately ?4.06 Lakhs for the four-year duration. Tuition Fees: I pay ?1,00,000 per year as the base tuition fee. One-time Charges: During admission, there was an additional Admission & Registration fee of about ?2,000 to ?5,000. Category-based (SC/ST/BC): Many of my batchmates from the SC/ST categories receive Full Fee Reimbursement from the Telangana government, meaning they only pay for the university exam fees and basic registration. BC/EBC Students: They generally get a partial reimbursement of around ?35,000, so they end up paying the remaining balance of the ?1 Lakh out of pocket.

Campus Life

5

The college stays vibrant with two main fests: Pramana (Annual Cultural Fest) and Ikarus/Invicta (Technical Fest), usually held between February and April. Student life is driven by active clubs like the Google Developer Student Club, Rotaract, and the Science Squad, which are great for networking. For sports, there are solid grounds for cricket, basketball, and volleyball, though indoor facilities are smaller

Admission

applied to a few colleges like VJIT and JBIET, but I chose KGRCET primarily because of its Autonomous curriculum and the K-Hub startup culture. The admission process was straightforward through TS EAMCET counselling. I got in with a rank. The college staff made the document verification and fee reimbursement (TS-PASS) process very easy. My advice to juniors: if you want a college that focuses more on projects than just theory, this is a great pick in the 30k-60k rank range.

Faculty

5

The best faculty for me is Rajendra Prasad(HOD&maths) the way of teaching was really good, clear and concise. Exams:Two Mid-Term Exams,One Semester-End Examination Initial Pass Rate: On average, about 75% to 80% of students clear all subjects in their first attempt.

Night Life

5

Favorite Spots: basketball, vollyball and i love hanging out at the Amphitheatre and the lush green lawns near the botanical garden. The Canteen is the social hub for quick bites. Unwinding: Most students unwind through Student Club activities or sports. Every Thursday, the HSD (Holistic Student Development) hours allow students to step away from technical subjects and engage in hobbies or social work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pver all ots fine but we have to right records for almost every subject for which we only get 5 marks i think that is unnecessary and in our computer labs most systems are not working. For 1 year all the branchs are studying tye same subjects that os good as we will have basic knowledge about every thing and its not that difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
