Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of KTU (Kerala Techinical university) is very tough ,outdated system,teaching method is very wrong, old method are using here, semester time period is short, student can't catch their subject on this time period, 6 subject with 12 module or more complete in 2.5 months after this immediatly exam starts,so need more time interval for learning and add more partical based activities in curriculum, theriocal subject is more compare to partical,student are just by heart some portion and attenting exam, so they don't know partical working of machines

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 35000 rupees for merit class student (excluding exam fees ,university fees, others) admission fee one time 24000 rupees with caution deposit,registration fees 2000,exam fees 3400, others 3000 total 64700 rupees while unmerit class 1 lakhs rupees total fees per year while sc/st class per year tution fee 1000 and exam fee 3400 only

Campus Life

Overall best experience , nice campaus with arts , sports and techinical fest.Somany club are availablein this campus,like NSS,IEEE,Science Club,ECO Club,Art Club,Sport Club etc.IEEE journal and conference are available,Annually techinical fest art and sport programmes are conducted on this campus,Library with wide range of books are available in this campus , for cuuriculam based and social ecomically books are available

Admission

Main parameter are near by home,best campus top in my state under government approved,fees struture, facuilty, i got addmission under merit based on keam entrance rank list so near by college is this , but some other college also near but they are private college with high fees ,i also applied some other government college but rejects because of mark and merit list

Faculty

student facullty ratio is ok , faculty are good behaviour , kavitha miss is good faulity she give more support to students for carrier ,this campus under kerala techinical university(KTU) ,University schemes is not much good, exam are very tough ,strict curriculum,more student fails,

Night Life

Night life are quite boring,no gym, canteens, no Public area. because of the campus location,Campus located on hill area so it is far away from main town.Boys have no hostel facilties some private room are available only girl hostel is available,locality is very safe

I chose the course because of the technical aspects and wanted to be an BIm engineer and do quite a good work in the construction field, the timing of the exams where way off, Each semester is 6month program, and the semester exams where conducted after 3.5 months of the semester, this is not actually the fault of the college but the fault of the University KTU

Placement Experience:

Priceline that taking place in our college is not that much upgrade its just about average because if there are 75 students in each class only below half of them get placed and most of the placement is came in the computer science or the electronics or electrical department and there are no cure placement is came if the core placement is came they only recruit two or three students from our college from the semester 7 the placement or Saturday are now became eligible for the camera placement mostly companies like laser and on turbo torundo shobha constructions are visited for getting placements and only less peoples are sit for the off campus placement the package is of average 6 lpa and and most people got 12 lba upper annum that is the highest one the person is getting placement after this we take degree was 15 or 60 in our college the placement is very low but the cgpc like a coaching were given to the students in our college to get a great placement if they dont have any separate there are chances to get into grade placement but mostly got a software job there is no core placements are given in our college and because of the alumni connexions there are chances to get a core placements but only less number of people get placed in that level they need to get highly skilled during the placement the companies or recruiters are asking for more skills other than just the speed of degree that's why most people don't get selected and if they have supply there are two chances for getting out of the placement and there are some companies they don't look into the supply numbers they just only wash the scale this person half by that way there are so many people get placed some companies like plastic omnium it's an mnc two people get placed in the last year but that is also based on the alumni connexion but they are skeletal a normal ptech degree person just get an average lv of six or five per annum and to get into mmc they need to work hard and achieve so many skills other

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home.
