Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life was so amazing as the Campus is big and the people here are friendly and approachable currently there are no Clubs in College and the infrastructure is good of the college. Some of The Annual events taking place in the college are Auto expo , Tech expo. The accessibility of books and journals available in Library is vast over 3000 books are available. Annual sports takes place in campus. There are many student run social group or club department wise like ITSA , MESA , and many more.
Admission
I choose this college on basis of Campus as the Campus includes 3 colleges and campus is big also relatives suggested it to me. The Canteen is huge and various varieties and options are available. I had applied to other Colleges also like KJ Somaiya but I didn't had enough cut off so I confirmed my seat in this college. The admission process is through the DTE site through CAP rounds
Faculty
Faculty-to-Student Ratio: The ratio is approximately 1:25 to 1:30, which is standard for polytechnic colleges. In some first-year batches, it may feel higher (closer to 1:60), but it balances out in specialized departmental subjects. Approachability: Most students describe the teachers as "supportive" and "kind." They are known for clearing doubts even outside lecture hours. However, like any large college, a small minority of students find certain senior staff to be strict or "traditional" regarding discipline (e.g., attendance and grooming). Highly Regarded Faculty: * Mrs. Cissy Shaji (HOD, Chemical) is frequently cited for her leadership and polite nature. Faculty members like Dr. Bagal and Dr. Sona are often recommended for projects because they provide excellent industry exposure. The Computer and IT departments are often praised for having staff who are well-versed in the latest "K-Scheme" curriculum. Course Structure and Curriculum - BVIT follows The MSBTE curriculum currently implementing the K scheme. the attendance of the students is monitored while the environment is generally friendly, Failing to meet 75% Attendance can lead to issues during term work submission Exam System & Marking Scheme The assessment is divided into Internal and External components 2 Unit Tests are taken in 1 semester usually of 30 marks of which avg is added to the final marks of the sem out of 100 End sem exams are of 70 marks External Viva/Practical marks vary subject to subject
Night Life
The Locality is safe to roam around at night but since I am day scholar I don't know much about other details but the college campus nightlife is relaxing and there's silence in the college and feels relaxing
