One of the oldest college in the region

The college is an old college which would hsve been the best in the region if they were given proper care. But the management is not interested in those things. They don't spend money on any events. The college is worst of the worst and it effects the incoming students.

The course curriculum is decided by the vishweswariah technical University Belgaum at which the college is affiliated to. The examination is conducted every semester as external examination and 3 internal assessment examination for each semester.

There are many companies who visit our college for placement and interviews but compared to other colleges in the region its not attractive. Job opportunities are not as great comparatively. Our college does not provide any internships but they encourage the internship program and some faculty take special interest in this and they conduct it.

Our college doesn't hsve much events. They don't spend money on such events. However engineers day is celebrated in our college. For Kannada rajyotsava mamy events are conducted such as sports and cultural events. And a national technical fest is conducted every even sem. Inter branch fest are conducted which includes both sports and cultural events.

Its feasible and not expensive. They don't charge more than the government CET fees. The Karnataka examination authority has set some fees for entrance of engineering course. Even if we get admission through the management quota thevfeew is not more than that of kea fees.

The college doesn't offer any scholarship or loans but it encourages all the scholarship and loan facilities. The students are not pressurized for paying the fees at the beginning of the academic year itself. They give Time students who applied for educational loan and give all the support required for the candidate.

The sports teams are very good specially in football and hockey. Football team is the zonal champions. The physical education director is very effecient and encourage all the sports activities. There is chemistry lab which has machines and apparatus which are not available in any of the colleges in the region.

No I'm not a hostelite but I have heard that the hostel is over occupied and more students are accomodated in one Room. However a new block is under construction and it will overcome all these situations.

There are many alumni association for the college. The alumni association exists in Dubai and even in Kasaragod Kerala and also in coorg. The alumni association is very effective and they provide assistance in placements.

I got the admission through the cet entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka examination authority. I have participated in counselling and I personally selected this college as my first preference college and I got it on my first attempt itself.

Most of The college faculty are inexperienced and alumni of the same college. After the completion of their Mtech they get selected for the same college as faculty. There are some senior lecturer in every department but most of them are inexperienced.
