Mdu as a good university

In the era of AI, living without knowledge of computers is impossible so, students must have basic knowledge of computers it is the bare minimum requirement of time. The improvements that can be done is the syllabus can be taught in much more depth.

As in my university, my batch will be very first to be educated under nep 2020, so this time we have gone through a unpaid internship project in 5th semester, under our teachers as mentor and guiding us. The paid internship will be conducted in last semester of course.

On an average, the total fees is around rs. 21000 per semester with tution fee on an average is 15000. The university also provides many scholarships like NSP, PMS, scholarships for course toppers etc.

In an year, there are may fests that our university conducts starting from induction programs for the new comers to inter college fests to inter zonal fests to inter university fests. Plus timely, workshops for various batches are conducted over a year. Multiple sports tournaments usually held in the university campus.

The hostels provided by the university is very very good. Clean and clear environment with good and health diet menu in mess. In girls hostel, the meal served is i think one of best. Hostels are quite affordable with 14000 fees a year including 4000 mess security which will be refunded as u leave the hostel and apart from this there is an average of 2000 rs mess charge every month.

As compared to the distance from KU, MDU is far closer. So, for ease i chose mdu. The admission process for mdu is simple. For bca course, u first have to give an entrance exam, then timely the counseling will be done and according to your marks and rank in exam you will get admission.

The faculty to student ratio is 22-23. The faculties are really very cooperative. In the department of uiet, there are 2 internal exams in a semester plus semester exams. The exams are conducted right from the syllabus with level of questions is easy to moderate

The library rather vivekanand library which is the main library of university is 24*7 open for students especially the reading hall, while departmental libraries closes around 5 pm. Other public areas are closed around 8 pm in the university campus. The closing time for girls hostel is 8 pm in summer while 7 pm in winter. While boys hostel is 24*7 open.
