- Infrastructure is very old. Repairs are going but overall 2/5

Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical branch is good compared to similar NITs or colleges. Core gives good placement opputunities and packages. Also, not very academics oriented college For real world, it prepares well. Machines are old but profs are good They take quizes 2-3 time per semester which are diffficult. And viva and practicals

- from sixth semester, some seniors have received the PPOs - companies like apple,bmw,mahindra,paytm, hire -%placement is not that good, its 55-60% for mechanical and 85-90% for CSE -highest is 60-65lpa as latest and average is 12-13lpa -plans are getting a placement , if not, i will do mtech from abroad

Course fees = 200000 per annum Hostel fees = 81000 per annum Mess fees = 51000 per annum For category, course fees 100000 per annum and hostel mess same. Not much scholarships by college, but alumni based and government scholarships available
Campus Life
-PECFEST is biggest fest of north india -library contains many books but the journals section is mostly closed. -sports are very good, it has 4 athletic grounds -clubs are best as compardd to other colleges -yeah there are clubs like robotics,asme,sae,rotaract
Hostel Facilities
Hostel faculty is also good. There are 2 wardens, one is proffesor of maths. Meal is a solid 3.5/10. Affordabilty can be an issue as total fees for 4 years reaches 13-14lakh. And also chandigarh is an expensive city. I live in hostel not in PG
Admission
- i was getting nit jalandhar ice branch but its location is the best thing. PEC lies in the heart of chandigarh. Every sector is easily reachable - also i was getting CSE in thapar - admissions are through josaa counsilling for btech. You need under 70k rank for OS general to get admission here. If you have less than 94%ile in jee mains, you cant get admission here
Faculty
Approximately 1:12 is student to faculty ratio Faculties are very good except for one or two.. Exams are very difficult(pro level) and 1-2% students fail them The relevancy is a bit older as compared to new tech
Night Life
Gym is very good. College cafe and nescafe is also best Hostel closes at 10PM INSIDE: pec market OUTSIDE: sector 15 market, sector 34 market, elante, sukhna lake Location is the best thing ever i have seen
