The experiences at my College

The unique aspect I found at Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth is that they involve courses that shape an individual to his/ her best version. They teach us the aspects of life and how to enter and solve an issue with confidence. There are improvements needed in few areas but the overall performance is great and we know that the management is trying hard. The time between exams are a bit short but the frequency is not much, their difficulty level is based on the course's difficulty level.

There are multiple internship opportunities provided by the college making the students understand the relevance and applications required to appear as an employee. They also provide thought process labs for innovations and research where the students can brainstorm ideas, and thoughts.

The year wise fees to be paid is ?171,000/- The tuition fee yearly is ?160,000/-, Caution deposit till end of course which is also refundable is ?10,000/- Admission fees paid was ?1000/-, exam fee is ?6500/- per year and there is an activity fees of ?5000/- per year. Provides scholarship for students scoring marks equal or above the eligibility criteria on both merit and merit cum means based.

There are arts fests (pratibha) conducted by the college typically held in August month, but may vary. Other programs conducted are jabagadadash which is an international college fest. The library review is not bad and the books and journals for all references are available. There are multiple smart boards in most of the class rooms according to the class size also white boards. There is enough lights and fans in a classroom. There is a weekly hour for the clubs. And there are multiple clubs in our college that are initiated by the students.

I chose this institution as it have a reputation and name over the other colleges I applied for. The admission process of this institution is quiet long. The eligibility of the admission was to pass the interview conducted by the institution. I also didn't wanted to join another college because I felt that the management of that particular college was not as good as my expectations and compared to other institutions.

The faculty student relationship is that they are friendly and open. Students are able to ask and clear doubts. There are few teachers who make sure their topic is clear to all before moving on and tries to understand the part of the students. There are three exams Internal1, internal 2 and the semester exams. They are moderate to an extent. Many fail to clear the exams but the over all proportion of failing is lower.

There is a gym facility with multiple equipments and there is cafeteria for small snacks and got and cold beverages in the academic block. The canteen of the college is located a bit away from the block and the food there is amazing even though it's vegetarian. Campus timings are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with six hours a day. The locality is safe and there are restaurants and hangout spots nearby.
