Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is bit outdated for computer science. I have some of my friends from computer science department the course curriculum is bit outdated and teaching methodology too. As per my department is concern the course syllabus is upto date and the prof are really supportive. And experienced in their domain.
Internships Opportunities
As per my department is concerned , companies that gives internship are reliance, raymonds , arvind, alok textiles, aditya birla. Stipend varies from company to company but you can expect around 10-15k per month. But that really depends on role, company and your grades tbh.
Placement Experience
We have dedicated placement cell here at msu and as per as placement is concerned. Also highest package from my department is 14lpa and from computer science it's 22.5lpa. You don't need fo worry about placement here as MSU really hold good value in market.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is around 10k per year for engineering, girl candidate from Gujarat doesn't have to pay tuition fee also for self finance seat in computer science department and other department like mechanical and electrical the cost is on an avg 90k per year
Campus Life
We have so much clubs here that you can't take part in every club even if you dedicate 24 hours a day of your time. We have footprints, prena, robotics club, startup funding club(Msu vision 2020) and many other. MSU campus size is huge.
Admission
Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. The atmosphere is just so good. The exposure and stuffs you get is not comparable to any other college in Gujarat especially. Also we have robotics club, footprints one of the largest technical fest, Msu vision club that funds startups, and many other clubs too.
Faculty
Like evey engineering college we have viva and exams, from 2nd year we have internals too. Also one thing i really liked about examination system is the paper evaluation teacher doesn't even know about the student and anything. This create unbiased marking and stuffs. Mark of each paper depends on your course.
Night Life
I didn't opted for hostel so I don't know the timings but it's pretty much flexing also Vadodara is one of the safest city in India so you can hang out with your friends at night. Here you have many clubs, cafe, park to explore
