Likes

There is almost equal ratio of Boys and Girls
The Faculty is very professional, their teaching method is too good.
There are almost 20 committees and a great collaboration among each other.

Dislikes

There is a scope of improvement in respect to internship that the college provides.
Less focus on extra curricular like sports
Can definitely improve the quality of internship they bring to campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculam is student centric and it is created in respect to the job demand and skills required by the market. Guest lecture occurs on a regular basis which prepares the student to face the real life scienarios.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Year Wise Fees : 9,00,000 per year 2. Institute Deposit : 20,000 one time 3. Hostel Deposit 20,000 one time 4. Hostel Fees : 1,43,000 per year 5. Mess Fees : 52,000 per semester Total Fees for 1 year = 680000+497000

Campus Life

Campus life is the key highlight of SSBF. As there are many clubs on can join based on their interest. All clubs are student led clubs which are really beneficial for one's overall personality develoment.

Hostel Facilities

The room consist every essential item such as almirah, study table chair, Bed etc. Meal quality is also good and menu changes weekly. since it is a residential course, all students are required to stay within hostel only.

Hostel Fee: INR 500000 per year

Admission

The Admission process includes the Snap exam followed by result and cutoff provided by the college after which GD and PI and the Final Result is declared within few weeks. For students interested in Finance, it is one the best college in the same.

Faculty

There are more than 30 faculty for the batch. Deepa Pillai (Deputy Director) is one of the best faculty in SSBF. There are total 10 subjects in sem1, exam are of moderate level. Except few students all others clear the exam in first attempt.

Interview Experience

Difficulty level of the GD is moderate. Topics can be general as well as related to current affairs. It can includes basic banking topics. For PI one can prepare basic Finance and Accounting question.

Night Life

Yes, the college does have GYM, Saloon, Cafe and Essential shops. There are many places to hangout with friends such as MNC - Midnight cafeteria that opens till 3am in the morning and Meditation centre.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Infrastructures of the college are good.

I disliked the social life of the college.
I disliked the fact that the college did not organize anything such as festivals or functions during our academic year.
I disliked the food in the college campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

Average in terms of placement but great if You wish to learn Finance in Depth

i applied for multiple colleges which include, Goa Institute of Management, TAPMI Manipal, and had given the interviews for the same, i failed to clear them and thus joined SSBF which i had kept as backup but was the second last option of the four with wellingkar being the last, as SSBf offered me more knowledge and a more focused curriculum , i joined this college because without an mba most candidates get only sales role and thus get stuck in the loop, a college who would give me such focused knowledge and understanding of finance would definetly push me ahead in terms of finding a good job in the longterm. As far as the admission process is concerned , the process included group activity and the second round included a personal interview with some of the senior faculty members.
