Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course which I am pursuing is Electronics and Communication engineering and according to me it is the most relevant course in the coming future because most of the cse jobs will taken over by artificial intelligence.

Internships Opportunities

4

As a 1st year(earlier) and 2nd year(now) student I have been receiving mails for intenship from the TnP cell and in the summer vacation after the 2nd year it is compulsory for us to do a internship, so that is a nice thing.

Placement Experience

4

Our college provides great placements there is a dedicated cell called traning and Placement cell (TnP cell) where the members attract companies to our college arrange interviews for 4th tear students and much more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think yearly the fees is 48000 and we can avail for government scholarships (people with income under certain criteria) and the fees might be increasing I haven't noticed it in a while. And the fees structure also varies from category to category, and I don't know what is the fees structure of other categories.

Campus Life

4

On the side of social aspects our college is quite good since the faculty the students and the batchmates of mine are very nice since I am here and the clubs and infrastructure are also growing continuously.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel of ours' was around 5 kms. away from college for 1st year since the infrastructure is developing but 2 buses from college took us from coleege to hostel and vice versa, but now we got anice hostel in college campus.

Admission

The admission process is similar to other colleges (the iits and the nits) and its quite simple not a big deal but as this college is in delhi the capital of India that's probably a reason of me taking admission in it.

Faculty

4

The faculties in our college are nice but since ours' is a new college and the faculty members(some) are also new so they don't have much of a experience (not all but some) otherwise they are nice friendly and overall good.

Night Life

4

People in night stay awake for upto 3-4 am I also acquired a bad habit of staying awake till late night (not all) and some are studying some are sleeping some are playing games some are just wandering around in the corridor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college used to be good, with almost 100% placement rates. But that hasn't been the case lately. There has been a significant drop in placement rates from the past couple of years, mainly because of the lack of job oppertunities and declining job markets. But, the placements are still better as compared to private colleges, NITs and newer IITs. The placements here are conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 placements start in August- September, with the interviews starting from 1 December. The phase-2 placements start from January and then go on for entire semester. The student becomes eligible for sitting in placements in their 7th semester. While phase 2 placements are still not over for this year, I can share the placements stats of previous year. Around 70% students sitting for placements got placed. Rest students either prepare for civil services, or for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA,PhD, etc., but their percentage is very less. Most students come here only for internships and placements. The average package package for previous year was around ?15-16 LPA, and median package was around ?14 PLA.

Placements can be as high as 16L per year. The average package of placements is 4L-5L. But only top students get wide opportunities in the placement area, which is why the percentage of students getting placements is not great. Companies like IOCL, HPCL and TCS are among the major recruiters that come to this college.
