The True and Real Experience at UPES, Dehradun

The curriculum is set from basic to advanced level. You will study contract law, torts legal methods, reasoning, criminal law in your initial year. Then, you will study 1 specialization subject according to your specialization.

For intership, college gives student 2 choices- collge internship or self choice internship. For fresher they have to do NGO internship for 2 months. From 2 year onwards, you can choose self- internship or college as per your choice for 2 months (1 month each) from June and July.

Students become eligible from 8 semester here, Universities like Khaitan & Co, Trilegal, AZB, Karajwala and others, comes for campus placement. Placement cell do organize programs before placement starts where students get the opportunity to interact with partners of law firms.

Every year it is changing. For first year it is around 1lakh35 thousand per semester, then it kept increasing by 20-25thousand. For every course the fee structure is different. If you are domicile of Uttrakhand it is quite less compare to non- domicile students.

Overall, i have a great experience. I can borrow books, journals, novels from the library. you can mail for speccific paper if not given access to the librarian. The facilities are properly maintained. There are 4-5 annual events organised at univerity level, then every school has its own event organized depending upon their timeline.

Firstly, It provides the specialization as per your subject matter with the integrated degree which other colleges do not provied even not NLUs. We have india's 1st AR/VR legal Lab. In extra curricular, the School of Law hosts India's largest academic legal fest Vidhiutsav where more than 20 competition are held together.

The faculty- student relationship is very good. they all are approachable to their students and always ready to help student. They are top-notch faculties studied from top tier National Law Universities. They coach, Mentor, give Career advice to their students.

The night life within the campus is amazing. Mostly, you will see people playing in grounds. The gym is occupied in the night and we have trainer here also. the cafeteria open till 12 midnight. The in-time of the campus is 8'o clock.
