G.D.C PAITHANA, NALANDA (BIHAR) - REVIEW

I choose this college because of its affordability and nearness from my city . I live in hajipur and it is 150 km away from my home so its good to study here . So i choose this course . Curriculum prepares us very well as they help in practical learning and they mainly focussed on teaching with all the practical knowledge . No improvement is needed but new technology should be installed and advanced teaching methods should include to enhance practical learning . Timing of the exams are of 2hrs. and Difficulty level is medium .But they take exams very strictly .

Total fee of G.D.C. NALANDA is 107400 in 5 years . Tution fees taken by the college is 9000 and hostel fees is about 12000 and 1200 is the caution fees . FEE are nominal here as this college is a govt. college . Fees of all of my batchmates are same throughout the year . Scholarship are given based on the merit and category SC/STs takes all the benefit upto 5 to 10 thousand waiver in the fees of college . Scholarship in terms of loan is also provided by the Bihar govt. to the economically weaker sections of students .

Fests held here in the month of december and we celebrate Saraswati Pooja every year with full of joy and happiness . Annual fest is also held in this month . The books and journals are available in the library . Nalanda university is one of the biggest hub of books and journals in the universe . Books are easily accessible for all students . Classrooms are having all the facilities and all equipments are there . Sports and extracurricular activities are also offered every week . Student run clubs are like DENTIST CLUB , DENTOLOGY CLUB , PREMOLAR CLUB.

Rooms and mess facilities are very good and just like other colleges . They provides all the basic facilities in the room like tubelight , study table , Warddrobe , Bed , Balcony etc. Mess quality is healthy and good for eating . Menu's are like veg food everyday except on sunday , On sunday they give non- veg too . And other foods like chinese , south , and north Indian foods are also there . Registration process is very simple , Visit the hostel and select your desired room and after selecting fill the form and pay the full fees including caution fees and after that you get your room .

I applied for many dental colleges in Bihar but on my marks and Ranking in the Neet exams i get this college . So i choose this college over others . Yes , I get rejection from other colleges but I get this college . Admission is taken by the NEET exams and scholarship based exam is also taken for taking admission in this college based on the merit . Eligibility criteria is 60 above marks in P,C,B . And above 500 marks in NEET is required to get admission in this college . Overall , admission process is easy and simpl and my experience is good .

Faculty - to - student ratio is good as they supports and helps in all the practical knowledge whatever we need and they are approachable too after the class . Favourite faculty of my college is DR. SUMANT KOLAY SIR . He teaches us the dental structure na dits work very well so i like his classes . In this college all teachers are well educated and experienced from AIIMS so I like all the teachers . There is only one exam taken by the university with 3 internals .Difficulty level is medium level and easy .

Gym in my college is not there but cafeterias and library are there . Closing time of library and cafeterias are 7:00 PM . Hostel timings are - 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM Campus timings are - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hangout places are library and cafeterias in the university but outside the campus Rajgir is the best place for roaming outside even at night and it is safe too.
