After pursuing my 12th i went kota like most of the other guys preparing for JEE mains though those strenuous efforts still I wasn't able to get into any of those NITs and IITs so I choose the state board and in the counselling rounds I managed to grab a seat in this college.

Course curriculum of RGPV is much more flexible than any state universities and passing the university exams is not a big deal here though the university is trying hard to uplift its standard as one can see the change in pattern and syllabus almost every year I would suggest that It should focus more on practical oriented theory than simple theory which can be mugged and help in passing the exams talking about the faculty the it is a mixture of good and bad most of them are highly qualified and skilled and then there are some exceptions too but overall considered It still has those hardworking staff who would try their best to keep you on top.

The college doesn't offer its own internship program i haven't been an intern yet maybe next year I'll be joining one the college gives a month off to join the company of your choice for the internship program so that you can learn how things are handled in offices though I have always wanted to be an intern nokia but I think now I'll have to live past that as the company is more but there are other companies providing internship such as siemens, Ericsson, concor.

Placement wise my college is best in Bhopal and in recent years it has some real growth in this sector as companies like amazon are making their way to here and apart from that various other reputed companies like cognizant, Wipro, tech mahindra also joins the placement drive there are also companies like mU sigma which offers packages upto 18lack p.a and then the average package lies between 4-5 lacks.

There are seldom any festivals here i know my college is boring on the name of events you will have seminars, workshops, and once in while fresher's party yes I hate my college for being so bullish and being so studies only oriented a far different perspective of college life that anyone can imagine even I consider my school to be better than my college in my areas including this for all those parties and fun we arrange it ourself outside or join in with other college buddies in their college fest life is a misery.

State govt provides scholarship and then there are various other companies who provides the same recently cognizant was providing scholarships most of the scholarships are for the reservation castes i.e st,sc,obcs and none for general and the other scholarships are for those bright students with high cgpa sitting at the top the scholarship provided by the cognizant was for the one above 8.0 cgpa there are various education loans provided by the local banks with proper interest .

Well there is not much of a campus life in college due to the strict rules and regulations the gender equality is maintained as in my class itself half of them are girls and there is no biasing that can be found on the basis of gender in college, the college constantly organises workshops and seminar's recently IIT guwhati organized a workshop on ethical hacking and android app development, college olympics are also organized annually where several other colleges also participate.

Quite helpful I say every senior I met had always been kind and helpful they would encourage us for almost everything be that sports or studies the college is ragging free. There hasn't been any complaints of ragging in years more or less because of the strict rules. For first year entrants ARC are firmed within college (ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE) which helps them to avoid being ragged and also separate breaks and floor is allotted to them to avoid any interactions with the seniors before they get mixed up with the college and its environment.
